i've discovered the spiral of falling in love with david tennant is not a spiral. its a 60 foot hole in the ground and i can't get out
i, too, am an eldritch horror with an emotional attachment problem.
these… ten pfps… ( + wallpaper) (credit would be appreciated? ty.)
congratulations!
many quick sketches and other things from the past few months. in bulk! because some of them are better than others. i will learn to draw digitally eventually… in time…
every day i fight the pinterest battle of “hey here’s a pin about david tennant! want to add this to your good omens board, your takin’ over the asylum board or your doctor who board?”
anyways happy birthday to my fav. u are unmatched.
Lesbians are held to a higher standard of homosexuality than gay men are. What I mean by this is that people are constantly looking for reasons to prove a lesbian is faking being a lesbian, and that this person must secretly desire men. Women’s sexuality is so socially tied to men that people simply cannot fathom that a woman can lead a fulfilling, complete romantic and sexual life apart from them.
A man’s word on his sexual orientation is final. A gay man can compliment a woman’s appearance, even get drunk at a party and kiss a woman, without being questioned on his homosexuality. A lesbian cannot acknowledge a man as handsome without being decried as a faker. “I always knew you weren’t really a lesbian!”
Society will use any and all evidence it can to disprove a lesbian’s identity. You kissed a guy that one time. You said that guy had a nice smile. You must secretly desire men. A lesbian’s word on their sexuality is not final. It’s a suggestion people think is malleable to their own opinions. It’s not enough to say you’re a lesbian. You must prove it every moment of your life.

dear george,
it was on this day 22 years ago that you tragically passed away, leaving behind a world of people who infinitely loved you.
you are still loved by us all, and sorely missed.
i’m holding you close to my heart, today and forever.

end of the day post— 24 november, 2023. (will publish on 25th bc this will be a long one.)
i don’t think i was exactly ready yet to make my more intimate post earlier today, but i am now. i’m going to say everything i have to say.
dear freddie,
the 32nd anniversary of your death is coming to a close, and i haven’t been able to stop thinking about you throughout the day. today has been a day of reflecting on the impact you brought not just me but the world.
let me start by saying that i was barely 10 when i came out as queer. i was just starting to figure out myself, and growing up in a more right-winged than not area i had the odds against me as a person. having your influence even back then as a kid, you were one of the first people who helped me see that my sexuality would be nothing more and nothing less than a part of me. it does not define my abilities. it is simply there, and above all, a portion of my being that i should never be ashamed of. i am now in high school and a proud lesbian, and, in large part, i owe that happiness in myself to you.
i think i speak for many people here when i say that you have inspired us to have confidence in ourselves. you’ve inspired us to be bold and never hide from any opportunity. even THIRTY-TWO years after your death that influence is STILL strong and undying, and it will see no end.
which brings me to this.
freddie mercury, dreamer, singer and shining star:
NOTHING IN THIS WORLD can even HINDER your influence on the world. AIDS WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO HURT your soul and impact. i know for a fact that every person who remembered you today knows that as long as your music survives, you’ll be with us.
even though you may be in heaven your voice will always be heard.
love ya freddie. we all do. we all will, for the rest of time.
freddie,
today marks 32 years since we lost you, and we miss you more every day.
though you may be gone in body, through your songs your soul lives on.
fly high, angel. we love you.

ok this might just be a personal experience for me but hearing the song “Landslide” at the end of “You’re Getting Old” (s15e07) was the biggest and final thing that made the episode really HIT HOME for me.
that song and fleetwood mac as a whole is such a childhood staple for me- i always heard so much about them from my mom and nowadays i hold them in a very high regard as one of the influences for what my music taste would end up being like.
so hearing that song at the end of an episode about a kid going through quite literally the same emotional struggle and changes as i did at that age?? holy SHIT.
even now i’m still learning to deal with those changes.
i think it ultimately reminded me that yeah, i miss my childhood more than anything but the change i’m going through at those point in my life is helping me become a better person as a whole. so i embrace whatever my future holds for me
anyways wanted to rant a little. have a nice day

i definitely agree with OP’s headcanon (IN TAGS) omgg. liane strikes me as having led a VERY lonely life and i think having her son was really the first time she didn’t feel so alone
i will never be normal about liane 😭
What else can you do when you have just discovered love?
