usamericans, do you remember in the incredibles when syndrome made the robot go haywire just so he could swoop in and 'save the day'
this show is so beautiful
this scratched at my brain until I created it
the children yearn for stuilly
we deserved a better ending for billy and stu in scream. stu should’ve ran over to billy dying and confess his love for him and then billy says i love you back and then they hold hands until they both bleed out man fuck this movie and fuck sidney
this is so cool 😭
god’s own country was actually such a beautiful movie. not even just the story, which DID make me cry in the end, but the scenery. even with the bleak and cold colors, the landscapes were gorgeous
i love seeing real analyses on challengers 😭 all of the “mike faist hot 🤤” stuff is very nice and relatable, but i like seeing people’s thoughts on the movie beyond just that
Art's relationship with food is so important to me. Obviously, we know tennis and Tashi keep him on a strict diet with all the electrolytes and the green juices and shit, just another way he's restricted in his adult life. But when he's with Patrick he eats all kinds of unhealthy fatty foods freely (honorable mention to how Patrick uses food for flirting). And I don't think it's not only a representative of his relationship with each of them, it's also a reflection of Patrick's and Tashi's personalities and how Art just absorbs them, does that make any sense??? The churro scene, Patrick saying Art's dreaming about eating hamburgers again, the barely touched Applebee's dessert. I think it's all so telling of their dynamics. But I don't know, I might just be obsessed with food.
And don't get me started with the oral fixation...
that smirk has saved lives
Mike Faist in Challengers (2024) West Side Story (2021)
why am i just now learning that the opening track to hawaii pt 2 is called ‘introduction to the snow’ and not ‘introduction to the show’????
i have a cmiygl cd now!!!!! having physical forms of music makes me so emotional idk why 😭
every time i listen to wesley's theory i have an out of body experience. how did kendrick make a song so perfect? and its the OPENING TRACK to an even more perfect album? im ill
diva
um who was gonna tell me that french pop is fire? ‘tu mens’ and ‘le temps de l’amour’ by april march are so so so good
GUESS WHO’S GOING TO A TYLER THE CREATOR CONCERT???? THIS GUY 🧍♂️👈🏾
leo’s hair is CURLY and his skin is NOT PALE and he only wore overalls ONCE
I will never forgive Viria for making everyone think that Leo's hair is straight/wavy (it's curly) and that he wears that atrocious outfit (he wore it 1 time).
Everytime someone give him straight hair an angel lost it's wing and at this point it's a mass murder
im rewatching panic with my friend because of MIKE FAIST and she’s not getting the hype 😔 he’s so gorgeous and she just isn’t getting it 💔
thank you to whatever man broke frank ocean’s heart and caused him to make ‘blonde’ 😭
‘reincarnated’ by kendrick lamar is actually crazy. i’ll never get over kendrick’s more introspective music, even though mr. morale took a while to grow on me, i see the appeal now 😭 listening to a man address his faults is lowk therapeutic
this is actually the best thing i've ever seen in my life im gonna throw up
They're in a long distance relationship I fret
pondering whether i should be saint chroma or sir baudelaire for halloween
just watched “the truman show” and holy shit im so mad 😭 i’m sure this was the intent with the movie but the viewers only cared about what the show said they should care about. even though everyone watching the show knew that truman was literally living in a fucked up simulacrum of real life, they consumed the show with excitement and obsession, and only a small group of people thought negatively of it. then, once truman wants to escape, everyone is rooting for him? they didn’t care when truman didn’t care, but now they cheer once he escapes? where was that support before he knew about the situation he was in? they’d been watching the show for almost thirty years and didn’t care until now.
AND THEN, once the show was over and truman escaped, after the short period of celebration from viewers, they were just like “okay, let’s see what else is on tv” 😧 so they only care about what the television tells them to care about, and then once they’ve gotten all the stimulation they can out of one show, they move on to the next thing. it’s probably not that far off from real life but it really grinds my gears to see it in a movie i guess
kali uchis’ “your teeth in my neck” is my new obsession. the song isn’t lyrically phenomenal but the way she can make a song about wealth inequality so sultry is amazing 😭 her voice is so smooth and raspy and the way she pronounces her vowels is so satisfying 😻
“has the question become darker than the answer? baby, i’ve got news.””
