If Mob met Reigen four years ago when he was ten, and Reigen’s 27 at the start of the show, that means Reigen started S&S when he was 23.

If he took the usual education path that means he started college at 18 and left four years later at 22.

Which means:

Either Reigen has no college degree and has been winging it this whole time.

Or he had a professional office job for ONE WHOLE YEAR before going ‘fuck this’ and started a career as a pretend ghostbuster.

Quitting his job is framed as this big life changing move brought on by depression but we might need to consider that Reigen’s just always been this weird

I’ve seen a lot of posts about the mp100 age swap and I kinda got obsessed-

Reigen points to Mob with a flat expression and says, "So this is what it feels like to be accused of being brainwashed when you're not." Mob inhales as his thoughts flash between Ritsu, Tome, and Mezato all pointing at him.

Then several images from earlier in the episode. First, Mezato tells Mob, "Don't worry about it any more," Her expression is a simple but unsettling smile, her eyes closed and mouth wide. Second, Dimple's LOL cult gathers, several of its members staring at Mob. Their masks look like Mezato's face. Third, Tome points straight forward at Mob, gesticulating, evasive. Fourth, Ritsu points at Mob, accusing, wearing an empty smile.

Then a shot from season 1 of Dimple, thrilled, pointing straight forward and assuring, "You can become big! I guarantee it!"

Finally, Mob is still for a moment. His hand comes up to clutch his chest. He bows his head, lips pressed together. End ID]

Because it's spooky month, Demons AU where Reigen is a rather low level demon who finds himself summoned by a 10 year old Shigeo who's scared of his own powers (still psychic or something else?) and ends up contracted to the kid, maybe at first annoyed a child is who he ended up forming a contract with but over time ends up really caring and protective of this child.

Maybe Shigeo just wanted someone to talk to and there really aren't many beings in this world who could understand what he's looking for or that he could talk to so demon summoning is totally the logical choice here. Shigeo could absolutely destroy Reigen is he wanted even as a kid but nah he just wanted help :')

ritsu is so funny to me. he says shit like "I'm a completely normal middle schooler, I'm the utmost case of plain and simple" which is clearly something normal people say. he keeps a spoon in his pencil cup. and in his pocket. he got up in the middle of the night and did weird poses around the sink to try to make water float. he's a rude and judgy bitch but only in his head. when asked if he has friends, he responded with "I talk about the weather with pretty much anyone, so don't worry about me." he canonically doesn't listen to music. his brother thinks of him as his calm and collected little brother who always knows what to do, when in reality he's the most neurotic kid on the planet. he saw teru wearing a giant wig and thought "wow his brain must be so big." when he and shou first met, they beat the shit out of each other until he was knocked unconscious, and then when they met the second time, it was when shou came to his house unannounced and was like "hey do you want to help me kill my dad" and ritsu was like "okay. btw I think we have similar family trauma." he tried to zap a bug with psychic powers and then screamed for his brother's help when he couldn't get it. he used to cry as a child about spoons. his first instinct when seeing a spirit for the first time was to slam it repeatedly into his knee. he is the thirteen year old of all time.
