I know Snake’s just running back and forth and it looks boring, but I’m kind of proud of this tree, and the skid-out animation as he changes direction, both of which I did today.  Hopefully we’ll be able to get some actual gameplay capture gifs going soon, because Photoshop is kind of a PIA for showing off the animation in a real environment.  Things are still a bit glitchy on that end right now!

Kaz has an obsession with the sound of train engines. It borders on something sexual. It’s mentioned once offhand and never brought up again in canon.

“Just out of curiosity, do ghosts have legs or what?”

“Alright! No more uniforms!! From now on, we’re all going NAKED!!”

Big Boss can lift a tank with his bare hands. You just have to mash a button hard enough. This absurd feat of strength is never brought up again in canon.

The final boss theme is a J-pop song.

You can wear nothing but swim trunks throughout the entire game if you want to.

You can wear a shirt that says BIG BOSS with an arrow pointing downward.

The CIA director’s name is Hot Coldsman.

“Cecile Cosima Caminades? You know, if you say part of that in Japanese, it sounds like “Kojima kamina desu”…I can’t believe it!! Do you know what that means?? KOJIMA IS GOD!!”
