building the courage to be open about your beliefs and to fully accept yourself as anti-censorship/pro-fiction can take time, and it's hard!! but i promise you it's worth it. a Lot of "antishippers" i've been close to in the past have been closet proshippers, masquerading as antis online to avoid harassment. if, today, everyone dropped the façade, the anti-fiction community have soo much less power!!
while most antis are just entitled children caught up in groupthink & "brave" in their anonymity, should a situation arise with real threats of harm, REPORT IT TO THE AUTHORITIES!! check the laws on harassment, illegal threats, cyberbullying, etc in your area – if you feel there's reason to be genuinely, personally worried about your safety, there's a good chance whatever is happening is illegal!! you can report illegal threats, harassment, defamation, whatever might fit the bill in a more serious situation!!
