Based on aguerobaam’s work inspired from The toymakers by Robert Dinsdale
Yes, It’s not classical fairytale from the Grimm Brothers nor the work of my favorite fairytale author Hans Christian Andersen.
I’m grateful to my friends who mentioned that I should read the fic. @p0l-anka @1-800-i-ship-it Even tho it’s fanmade, it gives warm and mezmerizing ambiance while reading it. It feels young again, the nostalgia of gift giving and toys as a kid.
To be honest, my real intention is to draw “The Wild Swans of Hans Christian”. But the nudge and suggestion of my friends to read aguerobaam’s fic gave me a strong urge to do this instead.
The story of “The Toymakers by Robert Dinsdale” is ethereal, magical and warm. There’s a tug and good feeling, a sanctuary in the midst of this reality. It’s like a dream that I don’t want to end. I won’t drop the whole story here because my words won’t do justice in the beauty of it. Besides, I’m not finished yet. I only have the copy of it from e-books and I want to buy the hardcopy of itself. Too bad, I can’t get out.
These works made me feel like I’m home. A home that I’ve been longing for.
And as appreciation, I made a fanart.
I rest my case.

To those who’re interested in the fic.
For example, you can:
be in a shampoo commercial
start a boy band:
spot some choice booty:
break into song:
see some people in frankly offensive outfits:
attend a metal show:
listen to some sick jams:
discover zombieism:
sample some tasty snacks:
watch someone get burned bad:
find something you really like:
find something you really, really like:
find something you REALLY REALLY LIKE:
and wonder if you left the stove on:
