I have. as someone who’s family owns a business and daycare service for adults with autism and learning disabilities (as well as having close family members who are autistic and have severe disabilities), it genuinely just makes me feel sick.

I want to be a girls girl and support women in motorsports, but shit like this is disgusting. maybe it’s a more sensitive topic for me but it’s disgusting to see someone result to fucking ableism. she’s old enough to know better. she doesn’t need media training to know that tweet was wrong.

and for the tweet itself, it’s also disgusting and I hope the person who wrote it is ashamed of themselves. using autism as an insult is pathetic. bashing a driver for no reason other than having a wealthy father in a sport that is run by money is also pathetic. and even if lance was autistic, why the fuck should it ever be used against him? and why the fuck does it matter to him as a driver? that isn’t something that’s any of our business, nor should it be something that is used against a person.

there are many talented and amazing and unproblematic women in motorsports and I will happily support them. but I can’t say the same for bianca, especially after how she’s handled the situation.
