Complicated feelings indeed! It seems you did like J, but you also disliked them? You two got on each other's nerves, but not in a purely negative way! You liked being around each other and maybe even liked annoying each other. You two had the capacity to be each other's downfall, but you were also self destructive in some way and used J to further this.
