“Let’s go to your daddy, come on,” Secretary Choi says, reaching his hand out for Haneul. The kids better knew him as Uncle Secretary, or ‘Yeonjun-ah’ as they often hear from their dad.
“Where we going?” Haneul asks, looking up at Yeonjun as he holds onto his hand.
“Daddy has a meeting and we both have to attend,” he says, leading the little one out of his dad’s office.
“Are we going to play?” Haneul asks, kicking his feet up obnoxiously with every step down the hallway. “I want to play with daddy.”
“You can maybe play with him after, daddy has to listen and watch a few presentations first and–” Yeonjun looks down at Haneul who was looking up at him with furrowed eyebrows. The older one sighs. “Daddy’s busy, but after he’ll play with you okay?”
“Okay~” Haneul says before letting go of Yeonjun’s hand and running into the open doors of an elevator. “Boop boop!” He yells, pounding his small fists onto the buttons of the elevator.
“Y-yah! Kim Haneul!” Yeonjun yells, running after the little one who smiles at the secretary when the elevator doors close.
Yeonjun aggressively presses for the elevator doors to open, quickly panicking as he doesn’t know where his boss’ child has ended up.
He checks the time on his watch and he’s late. Yeonjun looks around and debates on running down a few flights of stairs when suddenly the elevator doors open.
“Uncle Yeonjun!” Haneul giggles, pointing at the secretary. Yeonjun sighs, turning around with his head pointed down to the little one’s height. He wasn’t there, but instead a pair of legs were. Yeonjun visibly swallows as he follows the legs up to see who was connected to them. Of course he knew.
“Yeonjun I thought I said to bring him to the meeting room? I instead heard him screaming and running down the hallways unsupervised.” Jin says, walking towards the younger one. “We’re late, let’s go,” He says, pulling his frozen secretary into the elevator with Haneul in one of his arms.
-
“I don’t wike it,” Haneul says, bored out of his mind, leaning back into his dad’s lap as he watches another presentation led by one of Jin’s employees. The employee presenting laughs awkwardly, as he clicks on to the next slide.
“Shh,” Jin says, readjusting Haneul on his lap. “Just watch okay.”
“Okay..”
Haneul didn’t understand anything they were talking about or why his dad sat at the back of the table with several other men in suits. His eyes wandered off of the man presenting and instead his eyes caught random things laid around the room.
Haneul started to whine, trying to slide down from his dad’s lap so he could freely walk around.
“I wanna play,” he mumbles pushing Jin’s hands away.
“Okay but behave, stay in here,” he whispers, letting go of Haneul.
Haneul breaks into a smile when he finally gets off of his dad. He immediately runs to the table up front and grabs a piece of paper and walks away with it.
“Pen pen,” he says walking by the employees and asking for a pen. One was nice enough to hand him a pen. Haneul giggles as he takes it, walking off and dropping onto the floor to doodle.
Jin quickly takes his eyes off of the presentation and his eyes wander around the room for his son.
When he finds him on the floor, his eyes grew wide.
“Y-YAH YAH!” he yells, surprising the one presenting and all the other employees present. “Haneul-ah!” Jin yells, picking up Haneul off of the floor, making him drop his pen. Haneul looks down at his masterpiece and smiles.
On the floor was a blank piece of paper.
And a bunch of doodles on the tiles.
Jin bends down to pick up the pen, which wasn’t actually a pen, but a fine point sharpie. And now his son’s doodles were permanently on the floor.
“Whose is this?” Jin asks, holding the pen up. One of the employees slowly raises their hand.
“Here,” Jin says, giving it back. He then went back to his seat in the back, placing Haneul on his lap.
“Here you go Haneul,” Yeonjun says, coming out from the back and giving the young one a pack of crayons and a coloring book.
“I’m sorry about that,” Jin says to everyone. “Please, continue.”
-
- “Daddy wet’s go to Auntie Sohu,” Haneul says, picking at the papers Jin was reading through.
“We already went yesterday, you have had enough sweets for the week,” Jin says mindlessly, flipping through the pages
“But I miss Auntie Sohu,” Haneul pouts.
“No you don’t, you miss her cupcakes,” Jin says. “Yeonjun can you send this over to Mr. Kang on floor 3?” He says , passing the papers to his secretary. Yeonjun nods, taking the paper from him and walking out.
“I want cupcakes,” Haneul mumbles, lightly kicking Jin’s table.
“No, you’ve had too much,” Jin says, leaning over to pick him up and place him on his lap. “We can have your favorite for dinner tonight, how about that huh?” Jin says, leaning down to place kisses onto his baby’s neck and cheeks. Haneul giggles, pushing his dad’s face away.
With two small hands on Jin’s cheeks, Haneul gives him a bIG PINCH. Squeezing with all his might.
“BUT I WANT CUUPPCAAKKEES!” Haneul yells. Jin’s face contorts in pain.
“Y-YYYYYAAAAAAAH!”
-
After answering his texts from you, Jin’s phone began to ring.
“Uncle I’m hungry,” Haneul pouts, pulling on Yeonjun’s hand. Yeonjun looked at Jin to ask if he wanted to eat but saw him on the phone so Yeonjun decided to take Haneul down to the cafeteria.
“Hyung,” Yeonjun whispers, Jin turns around and Yeonjun motions to the door and does an eating gesture with his right hand. Jin nods and tells them to go with his hand. Assuming that Jin understood what Yeonjun was trying to say, the two of them left.
“Okay let’s go eat.”

RETRO YOONGI YES PLEASE
After Dream gets out of prison, he goes to life on his own, far away from the SMP in an area no one has settled in, in a nice little plains area where he can make a cute cottage and a nice farm, near a village so he wouldn’t be lonely.
Some time into his peaceful isolation, he finds Friend. And he’s confused.
Because wasn’t Friend Ghostbur and Tommy’s sheep? Why was he out here? So far away from the SMP!
He couldn’t just return Friend, could he? If he returned to the SMP, they’d probably think he stole Friend. Tommy would definitely try to kill him.
But, as Dream finished his gardening and harvesting, he watched the iconic blue sheep dig into the bits of foods he had thrown out. Friend had been forgotten about. With his infinite lives, it wasn’t a surprise that people easily lost track of him. Poor Friend. In trying to give Ghostbur a friend he could always have, Kristen had cursed the animal with eternal loneliness.
Well, until Dream lost his final life, he could be Friend’s companion. Besides, Dream had been meaning to collect some farm animals, whether from the nearest village or from out in the plains. Friend made the perfect first addition to his farm.
Time passed of Dream and Friend in their home way out in a beautiful plains biome. Watching the sun rise and set, bringing new days of both relaxing and stressful days. Days where Dream would take Friend into the village or to explore for hours or days where Dream could barely even feed Friend and tend to the farm without collapsing into a heap of agonized trauma and guilt, apologizing vehemently to the blue sheep for hurting his friends.
One warm, sunny day, Dream was lying out in the field with Friend, watching the sheep graze happily while writing away in a journal when his keen eyes- trained from years of manhunts and tormenting people and lying awake watching for the faintest movement against obsidian walls- noticed movement over by the village, something that didn’t belong.
A fox? No, it was definitely human-shaped. With fox ears and a fluffy blonde tail that reminded him of the L’Manburgian fox man he had had a brief yet serious relationship with.
But that wasn’t Fundy. Fundy was more of a fox than a hybrid anyways. This was a guaranteed fox-hybrid. And those were rare. Foxes were such skittish creatures that even the more anthropomorphic ones didn’t really engage in relationships with humans.
Riddled with curiosity, Dream closed his journal and tucked it into the satchel on his shoulder, brushing away stray blades of grass and dirt on his long skirt- now Dream understood why Niki and Puffy loved to wear skirts back when they weren’t fighting in wars, they were very comfortable and freeing, it didn’t feel like Dream was trapped in his own skin- before starting off toward the village.
When he gets there, he finds a blonde little fox hybrid. Upon further investigation, he learns that his brief yet serious relationship with Fundy had led to an unexpected turn that he had never been informed of. So, after working through all of the feelings that came with finding out you had a daughter you never knew about, Dream takes in the fox that had come looking for him, fittingly named Hope by Fundy.
That was fine. Just Dream, Friend, Hope, and their farm. A wonderful hodgepodge that would… make life more interesting than before. At least Dream wouldn’t be lonely, and his sudden daughter’s presence could give him that feeling of love he hadn’t had since he gave George kingship.
Dream should have expected it.
He should have, and he didn’t know why he wasn’t prepared.
Honestly, it was as if the gods wanted to keep him on his toes.
Staring down at the two zombie pigmen kids and the brown horse following them, Dream honestly should have expected this, for someone else’s kids to end up on his front porch, with a horse. Who else could this happen to besides him? Well, maybe Ranboo and Tommy, actually.
The horse was Andrew. Apparently, according to Michael- whom he recognized from conversations in prison with Technoblade and brief whispers before he had been put into Pandora’s Vault- Andrew was an old horse of Technoblade’s that he had hidden away for being the perfect horse. Better than Carl, oddly enough. Techno must have forgotten about him, but Michael and Michelle- Puffy’s baby pigman kid, as it turns out- had found him and took him with to come find Friend.
So, just like with Friend and Hope, Dream let them stay.
He didn’t know why. Tubbo and Ranboo would move Heaven and Earth to find Michael. They would come looking for him, from what he remembers of Snowchester in the one week before he had been imprisoned, from what Tecnoblade had briefly mentioned to him. They would find Michael, and then they would find Dream and accuse him of kidnapping their son, and then they would kill him and take all of them back to the SMP.
He would just have to make sure he protects them.
And he would protect them, just like he had protected Friend and Hope, and like he had protected George, like he had protected Tommy before everything had gone so far downhill he could never return to his old life before Tommy and Wilbur and before L’Manburg.
He would protect these kids. Because, if they were here, and were asking to stay, then they obviously wanted to be here, away from the SMP.
Right?
Okay. Okay!
Dream had just assumed it was Kristen trying to twist fate to give him a family.
He had even assumed Drista was playing tricks on him at some point, but now it was almost terrifying how easy it was for the kids and pets of the SMP to find him.
It was as if all of the gods were trying to bring them to him. Like the gods were just guiding the them all hand-in-hand.
What the hell?
Exhausted and dressed in just a long t-shirt and shorts, Dream stared at the dog and fox sitting on his porch with an old button in the dog’s mouth. He slowly crouched, resting on his haunches as he reached forward to look at the nametags the animals wore.
Okay, he definitely wasn’t expecting these two.
L’Dog and Mushroom?
Those were the animals from Pogtopia!
Had they really just been left there? When Pogtopia vacated, had nobody really come for them? Dream vaguely remembered seeing Niki playing with a fox down in Pogtopia, was Mushroom hers?
He remembered L’Dog, though. Back when he had given Wilbur all that TNT…
These poor animals, forgotten about and abandoned. At least they had been safe in Pogtopia, but… that probably wasn’t any better than the alternative. Being so lonely in a cold, empty ravine, wondering when their family would come back for them.
With a heavy sigh, Dream pushed the door open further and allowed the dirty animals inside. He’d bathe them in the morning, when he was more awake and aware.
Tired green eyes watched as L’Dog, tail wagging and happy as can be, hopped up onto the living room sofa, softly woofing with excitement as he watched Dream shut the door. Even if he wasn’t really pleased with how big his new home was getting, he smiled at the two animals that finally had a family once again.
Yeah.
Dream was happy with how this was turning out.
By the end of the summer, Dream had amassed enough of a following to be considered a mini zoo. He was happy with it, but he still had that worry that someone was going to come and find him and his newfound family.
On most days, he was too busy caring for the farm and everyone within it to be really concerned about that impending threat, though. And it wasn’t like he didn’t have a plan.
When he first arrived in this land, he didn’t. He had limited himself to just iron tools and armor. He didn’t want to tempt himself with anything better than that, always refusing any of the diamonds the villagers nearby would offer, always ignoring the twinkling blue ores in caves in favor of coal, gold, and iron.
But when everyone started showing up, he knew that he would need a plan. Some way to protect them all in case someone came looking. So he set up the backup plan. Hidden deep down in bedrock, so far down that he wouldn’t even think of going unless absolutely necessary, was his panic room, full of armor and tools, enchanting books and tables and everything he would need to protect his family. Everything he would need if he was going to care for these runaways.
Because Dream cared for his family. And he wasn’t going to let them end up like his last one had. He was going to make sure of that.

I SCREAM
— the one where jimin is not supposed to freak out but he freaks out anyway.
↳ alternatively jimin does not enjoy getting calls that let him know you’re in hospital, even if they give you chocolate pudding.
↳ genre established relationship / implied idol!au ig? / fluff & comfort / a lil angst and a lil humour / wc - approx. 700+
↳ warnings gn!reader / reader gets in a car accident (not described much) / jimin is very worried and frustrated / oc is a bit of an idiot PLSJSJS / injury — fractured arm
“hey, baby.” your voice fills jimin’s ears through his phone, and his lips immediately twist upwards into a soft smile.
“hi, sweetheart,” he replies cheerfully, ignoring the grimace taehyung sends in his direction. the two of them have been holed up in jimin’s studio for half the afternoon, and your phone call is a welcomed break from all the work he’s been doing. “what’s up?”
“listen — i need you to not freak out, okay?” you say guiltily.
the smile fades from jimin’s face, and his tone drops into suspicion. “why would i have to freak out?”
“you don’t have to freak out!” you suggest. “in fact, i’m telling you not to freak out. please don’t freak out.”
“you’re freaking me out!” he says, panicking. “what’s wrong?”
you hesitate. “i — i may have gotten into a… very small accident.”
“what?”
“but it’s like a teensy tiny one! miniature! microscopic, in fact!” you interject hurriedly, as he stands up, already searching for his keys. “jimin, there’s no need to freak out!”
he ignores this, and ignores taehyung’s concerned looks. “where are you? are you hurt? what kind of accident?”
“nooo, are you freaking out? you’re freaking out.” you sigh dispassionately. “i told you not to freak out!”
“oh my fucki — where are you, ___?” he repeats frustratedly. “please.”
“well.” you give him a sheepish laugh. “i’m kind of at the hospital right now. i have my own room and everything! they gave me chocolate pudding!”
he tugs a hand through his hair frustratedly. “chocolate puddi — god. i’ll be there in twenty minutes, okay? don’t — fuck. yeah. i’ll be there soon, baby, i love you.”
“love you too!” you say brightly, a stark contrast to the panic in his tone as he hurries towards the exit. “i’ll be here! in my hospital bed… just chilling….”
—
it takes jimin fifteen minutes to burst into your hospital room with a worried frown on his face. “hey,” he says breathlessly, striding over to you and cupping your face in his warm hands. “hey, what happened?” his hands run over your face lightly, his brown eyes distraught as he catches sight of the cast on your arm. “oh, baby.”
“you are freaking out,” you inform him knowledgeably.
he shakes his head at you, throwing his head back in exasperation. “you are so — of course i’m freaking out, you’re in the fucking hospital! what happened?”
“i was driving back from my lunch break — i went to that pastry place, you know? — and this guy ran a red light and hit me with his car. it was an accident! it’s not a big deal!”
“you’re hurt.” his voice is tight, and you see the tears in his eyes and suddenly realise just how worried he is. “it’s a big deal to me.”
“it’s not even broken,” you say softly, reaching up with your good arm to cover his hand that rests on your cheek. “it’s just a fracture. i’ll be fine soon, okay?”
he blinks furiously, and then sighs, dropping his head onto your shoulder. “okay,” he breathes, letting his panic seep away slowly. “okay. i just — if something happened to you — ”
“but it didn’t,” you interrupt gently. you don’t want his mind to go there. “nothing happened. i’m right here.”
he hums into your neck softly, muttering a quiet, “thank god.”
“and look!” you change tone, ready to lighten the mood. “the nurse wanted to sign the cast but i said you had to be the first. it’s all yours.” you offer him your cast and a pen, and he smiles fondly, scribbling his name and heart.
“she thought i was crazy, saying that park jimin had to be the one to sign my cast first,” you recall, giggling. “she wanted to check my head too.”
jimin’s eyes crinkle as he laughs. “that’s why she was looking at me like that when i came in!”
you examine his signature critically. “hey, do you think i could sell this after?”
“yah!” he cries, but he’s laughing as he scolds, both of you leaning into each other — park jimin never half-asses a laugh, he laughs with his whole body. eyes sparkling, teeth flashing, body leaning into yours like he wants to share this moment with you and nobody else. even in the oddest of places, park jimin brings you warmth and love like no other.
