These are not in order! Just my top ten fics from these hopeless boys.
1. These Things Happen Rating T. Summary: Obi-wan Kenobi keeps promoting Cody. The promotion gets out of hand, and suddenly the balance of the universe shifts into the palm of a very competent, caffeinated man. Why on the list? Well, first of all I love me a good crack fic that is written nicely and flows well. Also I just? straight up love? the chapter? about Taxes that made me laugh so hard. The relationship Cody has with everyone else in the story is just… good. It’s so good. And the FIRST PART IS A CHAT FIC and im. not gonna lie i’m a sucker for those.
2. httpsCC-2224 (Cody)’s Guide to Obi-Wan Kenobi Rating T. Summary: a collection of one- and two-shots in cody’s pov, and his adventures and thoughts on the 212th’s general. Why? There’s some really nice chapters in here and I love just the whole relationship and dynamics between everyone it is so good. 3. Cèile Anam Rating G. Summary: In a universe where sentients can only see in black and white until they meet their soulmates, Jedi are born seeing color. It is said that their souls are bound to the Force and need no one else to complete them.Obi-wan Kenobi, as it so happens, was missing a color. Why? Because it’s written so beautifully. Cody and Obi-Wan have BARELY INTERACTED YET AND ITS STILL SO GOOD listen. There’s more than just their relationship at play and there’s platonic soulmates TOO. It’s really well written and well- just read it. Please. It’s ongoing! 4. diogenes (what makes a man?) Rating T. 6.do you love me Rating T. Summary:In a universe where Mandalore did not become pacifist, where Jango Fett took up the darksaber and the title of Mand'alor and reunited the clans after a last, devastating civil war, there are three Fett children: Cody, Rex, and Boba, with Cody taking up the title as Duke as the eldest. In this same universe, Obi-Wan Kenobi is more involved with his homeworld’s politics and government, while still holding a position as a Jedi Knight. Their worlds could not be more different. When Stewjon reaches out to Mandalore for protection from pirates and other thieves, Mandalore agrees, with one condition: clan ties must be made. A member of Stewjon’s government must marry Mandalore’s Duke. They choose Obi-Wan Kenobi. Why? I was a bit skeptical at first about this one. I wasn’t too sure how I would feel about an arranged marriage fic. BUT BY GOD IS IT GOOD. THE WAY IT HANDLES MANDALORE AND THE MAUL ARC I JUST UHHHGHHHGHHG its really good. There’s a lot of pining and angst and fluff and it just real good.

He finds more there than just memories. Why? Well my friends this is post order 66 and it is. GOOD. I love how theres a gentle progression to it. Plus there’s a second part from obi’s perspective. I just. Love me some nice post order 66 fics.

Or are we just going to stand here until the stormtroopers show up?”[aboard the Millennium Falcon, on their way to the Death Star, Obi-Wan makes Cody a promise] Why? It’s short, yes but this fic is. SOFTE. I love the idea of the fic and it was!!! really nice.
hello little one
Cody- No one can survive a fall from that height Kenobi in the Rako Hardeen arc- *falls off a building and is absolutely fine*
Ok now you got me thinking on whether or not this is supposed to be a testament to how Obi Wan is too good at taking a beating.
Of course, there is the fact that the falling off the building thing was part of the whole “faking his death” thing so I imagine he prepped how to fall in a way that looked really convincing.
But at the same time…the man could also just be super resilient.
And I don’t know if I should be scared or impressed that Obi Wan was willing to fall off a fricking building and land on some really hard looking boxes to convince people he was dead.
So like, disclaimer, I don't hate Satine but she is painted in a negative light in this au idea so please know that I don't actually think she's a shitty person or character, but I am using her as like the asshole in this AU and I apologize in advance, please don't hate me.
But I was thinking about that "I don't like your beard" line but in the context that Obi-Wan is ftm trans, and, when he had a thing with Satine, it was pre-transition.
And in this, Satine is a lesbian and she's not over [I'm gonna go with Obiaania as his dead name, Obi for short] when he shows back up to help her with Concordia/Death Watch.
And like, she heard Jedi Master Kenobi is coming to investigate, and was expecting someone very different. Which is why she's very passive-aggressive flirting-but-not with him the whole time. She calls him Master Kenobi, or Obi, but not Obi-Wan, because she misses her girlfriend who she isn't over, and though she doesn't want to be openly antagonistic, she feels betrayed.
And Obi-Wan is just. Sad because he still likes Satine a lot, and was hoping they could reconnect as friends, seeing as they can't be lovers anyways. But she's pushing his buttons, and making sly digs at who he used to be, and it gets on his nerves really fast.
Enter Anakin, Rex, and Cody after the investigation, as they prepare to ship out to Coruscant to prevent republic forces from being sent to handle the Death Watch and Separatist threat. Anakin is oblivious, because he is, Ahsoka and Padmé have all his brain cells. He misses the underlying issues and teases Obi-Wan about his "girlfriend" which makes Obi-Wan uncomfortable for obvious reasons. (I'm thinking Obi-Wan has never brought up his gender identity to Anakin, because it's not important, and not his business, and doesn't affect their training at all. And Anakin has seen him shirtless at some point obviously but his first thought at seeing scars on Obi-Wan's chest isn't "top surgery", it's probably more like "mission gone wrong", so Anakin is just, clueless.)
Cody however, files Obi-Wan’s medical reports and IS aware of the situation, and immediately dislikes Satine, and maybe at some point drags Anakin aside to tell him to back off about the girlfriend jokes without outing Obi-Wan to him.
And like, the last straw for Cody is when Satine is walking off the ship with Obi-Wan and goes "I don't like your beard, it hides too much of your pretty face". Like obviously Obi-Wan and Cody aren't going to fight her there in broad daylight but Cody is thinking about it.
Idk I just want Cody to step in and go "Lucky for you, you won't have to see his handsome face again. I have to look at his mug everyday, and I happen to like the beard," or something.
Anyways she leaves, and Obi-Wan looks at Cody like "So you think I'm handsome, hm?" And Cody's just "only a blind fool wouldn't."
And more mushy soft flirting and hugs and comfort because they deserve it.
Sorry this post is a whole mess and a half but I just couldn't stop thinking about this ahah. I'm not gonna write it but if anyone wants to add on or adopt it please feel free to ♡♡♡
It HAD to be done, I was sick of bullshitting details on their outfits so here you go, REFERENCES.
(These took seven hours total to compile, so please don’t repost without credit; feel free to save and use them for personal use though!)
Angst n5 w/ Fives and Dogma?🥺
I was 100% worried I would not be able to write this properly. These are both characters I haven’t really written- if anything I have barely written any of the clones. I love them, each and every single one. I just turn into this anxious mess of a ball that is afraid I am going to slaughter them with my words.
I have a lot of feelings about how Dogma’s blind loyalty was used against him. He made many mistakes, but he was so painfully manipulated. He and his vod’e deserved so much better.
SO ONTO THE ANGST~!
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
I’m fine, Sir.
The blaster trembled, the kriffing blaster trembled in his hands. If he closed his eyes then he could see how each piece of it vibrated thanks to the shaking of his limbs. Krell was laughing at him. His vod’e were against him because he had been so blind, so painfully blind.
You ever think that the General knows what he is doing?
He had nearly dragged Tup down with him. He had followed along after the person he had thought he was supposed to trust. His brothers had cried out, lashed hard against the injustices, but he had kept his feet on the path he had chosen. Each footfall stained his soul.
Well I, for one, agree with the General’s plan!
Vod’e turned on vod’e. The sound of each shot rang in his ears as they fell like training droids. Broken, twisted, betrayed. They had raised their weapons against each other because they had been manipulated and yet his eyes still refused to see the truth. What the mind could see, the heart rejected. 212th against 501st.
Betrayed.
Dead.
I think you’re all overreacting.
They had been made for the Jedi. They had been trained for the Jedi.
They had been corrupted by the Jedi.
Unmarked graves lived in his mind and he told himself that the General cared. The General felt each of their deaths, rather like he felt each death. The Remembrance was growing longer as more and more of his vod’e kept marching on.
NO! WE HAVE ORDERS!
When he closed his eyes he could see Fives grabbing the blaster from his hands. He could see Rex smiling at him. The Jedi was dead. There would be no Remembrance for the monster that had played with them like toys. The vod’e, he realized far too late, always came first. Dogma knew he should have believed sooner, listened to his mind sooner, should have just done anything sooner. He had argued that the General cared, that he knew what he was doing, and the payment for that blind loyalty was genocide.
You were the biggest fool of all, Dogma.
“So what happens now,” he leaned his head against the wall as he kept his gaze averted. He didn’t want to see the heartbreak in Fives’ eyes. His wrists sported new ornaments suited for his rank. Traitor. Jedi Killer. The Fool.
Prisoner.
“They mentioned a trial, vod,” Fives sank down onto the bench in the hallway. A faint sound of discomfort or exhaustion left him. Dogma wasn’t sure which it was, but he had to guess it had to do with the fact the war kept dragging on. He didn’t even know how long his brother would be planetside, but he knew he was wasting time by being here with him. Time better suited for anyone else.
“I...did the right thing,” he whispered more to himself than anything. General Krell wouldn’t have stopped, he would have just kept on using vod’e like cannon fodder because they were just clones. Clones were grown to die. Dogma hated himself, but what he hated most of all was how Krell had shaken his faith in loyalty.
“Yeah, you did the right thing. We aren’t going to let you go down for this,” Fives’ voice was pitched low so only he could hear him. “Dogma, none of us blame you-”
A dry laugh escaped him as he shook his head. The action made it feel like the very air was scratching at his eyes. They burned. “I blame me.”
“Dogma, just listen to me-”
“Forget it, you’re a fucking asshole.” His eyes kept on burning as his cheeks grew wet. If he kept his gaze averted, set on the wall, then neither of them would mention it. “You shouldn’t have come here. You should be with someone who deserves your loyalty.”
He had to push Fives away, had to push away any other vod’e that might show up. They didn’t need to be corrupted by him. They needed to march forward without worrying about what he hadn’t done fast enough. The sound of a fist slamming into the forcefield had him jumping slightly. His head lolled to the side and he fixed Fives with a look.
“You deserve our loyalty! We look after our own, you bastard.”
Dogma couldn’t fight the sad smile that curled across his lips. “But I didn’t, vod, but I didn’t.”
I counted on blind loyalty like yours.
