Making this post as a directory for my art!
I made a piece for every day of Hermit-A-Day May here, and am involved in two zines, Limited Life Zine and Views of Hermitcraft.
You can see all my work at my art, and I've sorted my most numerous fanart by works (though there's other fanart as well):
Hermitcraft Art
Disco Elysium Art
You can use my art for profile pictures if you credit me in your bio.
Some examples of my work:
off goes postmaster pearl~~
some older helmet designs! they're loosely based off the Agarthans from FE3H, but we have so little info on those guys that these may as well be original. Design notes under the 'read more'! part two and part three
So my overall idea for these is that they're a status symbol and personal identifier amongst generals within 'Those Who Slither', and they're not really meant to be as defensive as a regular helmet, due to their powerful magical and technological defenses. They're mostly meant to inspire fear and awe. For all of these, I tried to alter the silhouette/read of the human head, and incorporate or alter the eyes in some way, as I feel it's the number one identifier of another person, and removing that adds to the sense of fear of the unknown/inhumanity.
First one is pretty obviously just me trying to incorporate as many horns as possible onto a skull until it has a unique silhouette. The faceplate is based on an animal skull.
The middle one is a bunch of crab-like legs, which in my mind twitch over the armour. Crustaceans have a complex set of plates on the underside where their many legs meet, and I wondered how it would look if all the legs curled over a face. The last one is a horse's skull with a bunch of accessory, and represents the glorification of war. It has a big Roman plume, chariot-wheel designs on the spaulders, blood-like beads from the tasseled headress, a red ribbon out the back, and a halberd-shaped spike on the front. The spikes on the shoulders are three-sides blades, which produce irregular, difficult-to-heal wounds.
A Bunny, based off Michael Sheen in Bright Young Things.
Attacks for @pocket-sized-gentleman (with one Allay) and @ssilentwillow!
Really cute characters!
My most recent painting in acrylic and posca pen, over a meter wide! Inspired by Professor Layton and Nanaco Yashiro’s more cartoony work.
happy public domain day to bunny and raffles!
(edit: to clarify, they’ve been public domain for a good while- just taking 2025 public domain day to celebrate the wealth of literature available to us in the public domain!)
Role reversal
I was considering cute deli art, or yugioh TCG, or his cyberpunk city, but no. Spookified Beef.
