bitsy's battle stance!
Okay seeing all these Redacted Audio posts on my feed has pushed me to finally continue listening to all the audios again.
It will be slow progress but eventually I will make it to the end. I believe in myself and my constant mild brainrot over this media to carry me through.
No, fr. I have never been able to stop thinking about this ever since I first started listening. But for life reasons, I haven't listened to all of the audios already.
Finally got Stardew Valley. Played a little bit of it. The timed days and managing the energy bar be STRESSFUL. But I also got to meet Alex and give gifts to Linus so that was great.
I do wish there was some sort of tutorial though cus even though I've watched SDV gameplay so much I was struggling to play it because I didn't know key bindings for stuff or where certain things were. I also don't like having to walk everywhere but I think I'll get used to it.
But overall, it's been alright so far. I'm gonna play more because I want to marry Alex.
Also, kinda unrelated, but I just got Lethal Company and Content Warning too. I'm excited to play those.
Random little Avantris details I never pointed out before but won’t leave me now (not specific to any particular campaign, and little to no spoilers of any campaign mentioned)
In Beneath Dark Wings, I love that in Felix’s introduction, Andy was basically over here like “This is Felix, my beautiful baby boy. He’s running from the government and I love him dearly :)”, while everyone else was essentially like “this is my character. And that is all I’m gonna say about them”
In Edge of Midnight, Richie just. Fingerspelling H-E-X every time he uses Hexsblade Curse. Tho I think I’m just partially happy I can understand it lol
The fact that some of them do research on their characters beforehand??? The ones I’ve mostly noticed this so far is Andy, Mikey, and Richie, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the others do research for their characters too. Like with Andy knowing about Tieflings Virtue Names (like Shepherd); Richie seemingly looking up actual Latin for the Heart and Harvest oneshot (idk if he was actually changing IN Latin, but it sounded better than just taking the names of some spells and just adding -io at the end); etc.
Some of the characters just straight up looking like their player. It’s most obvious with Marius (Andy) and Gideon (Mace), but I feel like Gricko shares some resemblance with Mikey, Jornir with Richie, Kana with Maya, and Victoria with Kelsey (tho with those last 2 I feel are slightly skewed bc they actually cosplay their characters for CoS). The only one I’m having trouble placing is Derek, but my mind also keeps telling me that Frost vaguely looks like him so idk.
The DMs constantly asking each other questions like “what stat would you use for this roll” or “how hard should i realistically make this DC for this roll, and why”. And the players consistently replying with legitimate answers to these questions, and reasoning for these answers.
Also the worldbuilding feels so…idk, collaborative? Like, I’m pretty sure this world is of Mikey’s creation, but the others seem to build onto it constantly and so seamlessly and I lowkey love it??? Also makes the world feel more alive somehow, and I’m not sure why.
The sheer amount of differing personalities between characters???? Like, it’s so easy to just make every character you play just have your personality, but the cast, for the most part, don’t do that. Of course, there are some semblances of a player’s personality that won’t go away regardless of character (most notably with Andy and Mikey, I’ve realized), but the majority of the personality is very different. The best example I can give is Mace’s characters—at least Gideon, Yorgrim, and Taishen—they’re all Mace (Taishen more-so I think), but they’re very different characters. Richie’s characters are also a great example of this (Clayton, Kremy, Jornir, Briggsy, Toa).
Also how interactive they are with the fandom as a whole??? They interact with their fans, fanart, they keep up with what ships and characters are popular and why. Idk, it makes them feel a lot more real to me.
This was supposed to just be me pointing out little details in different campaigns, but it turned into me actually realizing just why I lowkey love this fandom? Not just the media, but the fanbase, and how they interact with the fandom. Idk, this has been one of the healthiest fandoms I’ve been in in a WHILE. Like, no, it isn’t perfect, but considering that some of my most recent fandoms included all sorts of controversy and content creators being shitty people, this is an upgrade lol.

I decided to REALLY focus on the reference I’ve been using from @dragaliareferencearchive to practice drawing Anton
The points I struggle most with are (1) his narrow chin, (2) the angle of his eyebrows, and (3) making sure his body is large enough to balance out the head size💀

Episode 31 had me physically shaking and audibly screaming.
OHMYFOSIWUEJGSKH MY FAVES IN ONE POST
Who would you bet on in this duel?!
In my TOTALLY unbiased opinion, I bet Anton would win because we’ve seen him stop Grace’s rampaging children with his bare hands in chapter 2. He’s got the chops!!
Thisss
Hopped on this meme from HoYoLAB but figured I should post it here too
