I read about The Gold Star of Venus and just went "WHOOOOOO", it's my favorite actually logical being showing up! My confucian immortal buddy shall at least be in the background huzzah!

But also intrigue and mystery aplenty on MK and possible immortal food shenanigans, I look forward to it!

So after the first special what happens in your season one? Red Son not going to be a villain so it’s up to only Pif,DBK and whatever Red Son left them. Though something tells me that the help got to modify DBK armor is going to be important for later.

Well that's the thing, after the special, S1 is almost a full overhaul ajhdajdbdhdw not to mention the later seasons, i rly did take the ol' hammer to them xD

it would be too long to explain all the changes. most surface stuff stays the same, i rly like S1 for the small episodic stories we get and the lower stakes. i do overhaul the Spider Queen/LBD overarching plot and Macaque's introduction.

my au has instead the whole cannibalism deal as an overarching plot. MK still trains in FFM with the monkeys there and occasionally Wukong or one of his clones, but he also has to go around with Red Son to recover bits of himself that slipped into the underground black market, which does eventually leads to the S1 finale.

though because Red Son is a celestial agent and MK is basically a nepo baby, the celestial realm heist is more about avoiding all the heavenly court trying to congratulate or pay respects to them to yknow, save Megapolis in time. at least the Gold Star of Venus is a champ and trooper and helps everyone out!

however there's the inter-season plot of well, what the fuck is up with MK being a celestial monkey?? that one is mostly on Red Son's ballcourt, as when he tells Guanyin about the whole incident, she makes him responsible for investigating the missing uuuh, feast ingredients but since he found out about MK's monkey form very early on, he goes to investigate if well, anyone in the celestial court knew about that. which leads to a whole sprawling rabbit hole involving the Diyu, Macaque and the other celestial monkeys, heavenly bureocracy, time distortion, red herrings, a couple missing dragons and a whole web of people missing memories and records of events.

Basically what is going on with our chef and the once fellow brother pilgrim within your au? Especially cause I love it a lot even if just started posting it.

Pigsy is his own man, him and Sandy are more like thematic successors to Bajie and Wujing than anything else! i do like to think he has some ancestry with the Cao family tho uwu

he's very much MK's adoptive father along with Tang, they're an item in my au cus freenoodles is cute as hell. most of his arc is about how to cope with MK being in so much peril all the time, without turning into a helicopter parent xvx

he's also part of a thematic triangle about parenthood in my au. he's with Tang on the very caring and emotional but volatile corner, Wukong and the ascended pilgrims on the caring but very free range style parenting, and the Bull family with the deeply attached but stern and tough love corner. there are others of course, like the Long family and the dragons, and Guanyin herself, but they are the main ones i'm focusing on cus i wanna delve into how Red Son and MK handle being caught in the middle of those three.
