Hmm, I'm a huge fan of the packbonding tendency that humans have. Small creature? Baby. Big creature? Big baby. Toaster? Baby that go ding when toast. Everything and anything can and will be adopted by a human, and it brings me incredible amounts of joy.

As a human (I know, boring right?) I have personally packbonded with two roombas, a hat, and a 3/4 inch metal ball bearing. And I'm not sorry about it. I'm sure there's worse but those are the 3 wierd ones that come to mind.

He’s a real hazard! He will go >:( at people and try really hard to use spore to send them to lala land.

When he really does learn spore he’s gonna be a MENACE!!!

Pippi is still pissy after being hefted up into the luggage area. The shock the flight attendant felt when the backpack she hefted up meeped at her angrily and wiggled around!

She was even wearing her lil jacket… remind me to get a good picture of her on the way back.

@poketherapist-in-training n I are mid-way through a flight to go see family, Pippi got mistaken for a pink backpack and got put in the overhead lol. Captain was checked in to the pokeball check-in, since teeeechnically he's a "hazardous pokemon". Hazardous to ceramic cups maybe but I don't think he's actually a threat to anyone.

Wow, super interesting stuff. How have you found the higher intelligence pokemon to do therapy with? How do they differ from humans? I guess it would be hard to like, know, but if you have any insight I’m super curious.

I’d reckon a good amount of ghost types could do with some therapy… the way some of them are created is pretty traumatic.

Not reacting to stimuli the same way is a super interesting point. I assume unconditioned stimuli for pokemon is one of those more confusing things to figure out- what do you like and what do you dislike, how do I give a carnivorous plant a little treat for being a good sport… pfft.

My sibling is @newcomer-karp! They wanted me to join them cause they were tired of having to physically show me the cute pokemon posts on here and wanted to be able to send them to me directly...

But it also seems cool! And I'd love to participate and get to know more about the wider world.

I am a therapist in training! I attend Uni for my psych degree! My partner pokemon is Pippy the Chancy (the name made more sense when she was a happiny...but oh well). You are required to have a Chancy to apply for the psych degree, but I happened to already have her ;) She's my icon! In both the literal and blog way.
