It's a disorder caused by dissociation which is caused by trauma. Guess what? I'm also trans and have been harassed by transmeds, and it's not the same. Don't compare being trans, a thing anyone can experience, to people with trauma that happened before we had a fully developed fucking brain. Our trauma isn't comparable to gender, a fucking social construct that isn't real. Of course being trans isn't medical, because gender isn't technically real. Trauma and being a system isn't a social construct. We were abused.
