This is My Story

This is my second attempt at a writer’s blog.  Shortly after Tumblr started, in 2008, I created my own writing blog here.  My account grew into a good-sized following.  I wrote about the darker side of life, something we all didn’t talk about much, or at least we didn’t at that time.  This blog will probably lure Boomer prevs and GenX queers whose egg broke in the darkness of sex or who found themselves in the pre-Google times.

With the explosion of social media, the darkness and taboo that is fluent after hours is much more accessible now than it was in the late 80s and 90s.  Being gay or queer was seen a perverse. Two men hugging on television brought viewer discretion warnings, and socially, we were often driven underground.  We had certain bars, certain parts of town, and the back pages of magazines and newspapers. We were fags, dirty, and we could only face our reality drunk or stoned and under the anonymity of night.

For me, writing from a place of experience came easily. This is what this blog is about. My views. My journey. My sexual awaking. My life.

It’s non-traditional.

It’s not openingly accepted. 

In fact, gatekeepers resist with how sex can shape and validate us.

They cringe because sex fetishizes trans people and the men who prey against us are foul, disgusting, and creepy. 

What’s not talked about openingly are the trans woman who seek out those men.

This blog is a relapse of short stories, snippets, and traumas, littered with my non-forgettable smells of stale alcohol, cigarette smoke, used condoms, seedy arcades and gay bathhouses, and the validation of egg slut that was sexually hyperactive and craved the high that came from being used by men under the protection and justification of night.
