But also I think the original TikTok trend is pretty harmless and lots of TikTok trends take individual lyrics of songs out of context for the sake of making a joke or something

the way all those viral “im just a girl” TikToks ignore the “take this pink ribbon off my eyes” “this world is forcing me to hold your hand” “so don’t let me have any rights” is fascinating to me. just unabashedly ignoring the song to make a video about like, buying too much makeup or your boyfriend having to order food for you

you know that’s actually what I made a diary for but I’m always to tired at the end of the day to update it. But just awake enough to post onto tumblr. I want a diary on tumblr but an anonymous one none reads. It’s easier than opening a google doc

now what’s the point of having you very own tumblr if you can’t vent random nonsense for no one to see
