being an older sibling is like. you've never known a life without me. mom yelled at me and it taught her she never wanted to yell at you. I painted my room purple and grey and then you did too. we live in the same house but I haven't spoken to you in months. I don't know your favorite color. I saw it was going to rain so I picked you up from school on my way home so your books wouldn't get wet. i was so worried when you woke up sick when you were three. you don't remember being sick. mom and dad made their worst mistakes with me and I'm glad they didn't make them with you. I'm doing everything for the first time so you won't be in the dark. I don't know any of your friend's names anymore. I used to know them all. if something happens to mom and dad you won't have to worry because everything will fall to me. you don't like to be home alone but even if you don't see me just knowing I'm there makes you feel better. at least that's what mom told me. you still give me jars to open for you because you can't quite get them. I only see you during dinner. i'd never even think about missing one of your concerts. I stand at the counter when I eat and now you do, too. when offered a selection of books you picked the same one I did when i was your age. I'm terrified you compare yourself to me. I love you. I don't know if you like me. I want you to. mom says dinner's ready

Yes, JJK is my absolute fixation right now! I would literally LOVE to write Gojo, though I'm terrified I wouldn't do him justice because he is suuuuch a complicated character. I had an arranged marriage au idea in mind, but read Convergence Theory on AO3 and -- I will never ever top that fic, lol. That is one of the best titles of fanfic I have ever read in my lil fic career.

Maybe for funsies one day I'll write a one shot just to dip my toes into the SatoSugu waters. I do enjoy the concept of reader/geto/gojo polyam ship, since I hc those two characters as bisexual.

(Also Gege seriously needs to teach a masterclass of curse usage and techniques because it's like the business models of Succession to me - shit goes right over my head on how the techniques work. I would be so scared to write a JJK era fic but have to write fight scenes lmao.)

Ya know as someone that loves durarara very much i really was not there during the fandoms high peaks omg..fics,art etc I missed all that shit. So I was recently asked for advice on how to study history so I thought I’d share my tips and tricks.

When In Class

- Taking Notes. When you take notes (in university/college) I recommend audio recording the lecture (with permission of course), I love to use OneNote for this as you can keep your recording in the same place as your written notes.

- LISTEN! I like to pay 100% attention in my lectures and then listen to the recording immediately after while writing notes. This means that I’m focusing on how the lecturer links their points and understanding the material, not just copying it down from what they say.

When Revising / Studying

First! you must remember that history is a narrative. Meaning that it is a story following a logical order if you understand the sequence of events its so easy to understand the history.

Make Flashcards (I like to use Quizlet as I can access my flashcards whenever I need them). Flashcards can include dates, key figures/events.

Plan Essays, A great way to prepare for exams is to prepare practice essay questions, it allows you to create links in your knowledge and connect your ideas - (there’s no point in memorising something if you don’t know where you could apply it.

Teach Someone! (or just pretend to), this is my favourite technique for memorising information, it means that you can understand 

When working on an Essay 

Plan what you need to do! Research, plan, write, reference, check. It makes you feel accomplished and motivates you to tick more things off of the checklist.

Finish at least 2 days before the due date. This gives you plenty of time to leave the essay and come back to it for a final read through. Fresh eyes are the best eyes
