y'know, i just gotta say: to the handful of ppl who follow me here and like my oc art, y'all are the mvps. even tho i haven't been very active and i haven't posted much of them yet (it's coming, trust me) it makes me happy when they are appreciated. and to that one anon who asked about them that one time, if you're reading this, i think about that ask a lot and it motivates me to continue working on my boys and their story.
i'll admit i was never really able to warp my head around how tumblr works and i still don't quite get it. i'm more active on twitter and instagram where you can find updates on how things are coming along, but i'll try not to neglect this place so much.

There was a post a while ago saying something about becoming ridiculously crazy about platonic relationships and as someone who's intensely grieving a dead fandom (this is not an exaggeration the fandom was built on it's fancreations but it was rpf and the creators ended up being horrible so now 80% of fanfictions have been abandoned) that did this exact thing, I am very invested in your ocs. Tell me more. Is there angst? Do they cuddle?? I love platonic cuddles
okay yes hello! WOW! gimme just a second i am honestly completely shocked that anyone saw my addition to that post, let alone would read the whole thing, nevermind get invested in my boys aHAH ;;
(btw i am so sorry to hear about what happened, that sucks so hard and i can really relate)
now, i am SO glad you asked bc i don't get many opportunities to gush about this to other people! the short answer is: yes to both >:)
these two are pretty much joined at the hip so there are many platonic cuddles :)
they're technically roommates oh my god they were roommates, they live in the same house so every day is like a sleepover for them! they have their own rooms, but usually they both end up sleeping in the same place, be that bitless' room, shockatee's room, or setting up camp in the living room area. bitless likes to use shockatee as a pillow all the time which shockatee doesn't mind at all. it's very comforting for the two of them!
and ohh MAN, don't even get me started on the angst bc there. is. angst. >:) sadly, those parts are pretty spoilery so i can't talk about it just yet which really sucks bc i wanna talk about it so BAD aUGHH
just know that with bitless being a zombie and shockatee being an artificial intelligence of sorts, they run into a lot of conflicts that they have to overcome so there is plenty of angst to go around for everyone ;)
i could literally talk about them until the heat death of the universe but i don't want to spoil all the surprises so with that i'll leave it here. thank you for giving me the chance to talk about my boys again! i'm gearing up to post more about them soon <3

yes hi hello i'm so sorry for hijacking this post, but i saw someone i follow had reblogged it or something and i am actually insane about this very topic so if anyone who might be reading this would be so kind as to humor me i will elaborate. i lose my mind, i get annoying, it's cringe.
so these are the blorbos from my shows: my ocs Bitless (rainbow hair) and Shockatee (red hat, 3d glasses) and i am so :) normal :) about them :)
they're best friends and i go absolutely FERAL over their dynamic. the thing is, i know that if/when i start sharing more about them and their story, people are probably gonna start to ship them romantically. and that's perfectly fine. HOWEVER. i will continue to forever be nothing less than absolutely captivated and enamored by their friendship more than any romantic or sexual take on their relationship. because it's just. that. good. to me, at least. and not only will i die on this hill, but you will have to have to perform an exorcism on the land the hill stands on to pry it from my cold, dead hands.

these two are singlehandedly fueling the cymbal monkey that is my brain. i am a dog and they are the chew toy and i am ripping that son of a bitch to pieces with my bare teeth. i am afflicted with the status condition Poison (them) and i take 2 damage every time they cross my mind, which is every other minute of every single day.
they have been best friends in my mind since their creation in the summer of 2013 and NOT ONCE have i thought about them in a romantic or sexual way and preferred that over the platonic love of their friendship. and trust me, i've explored the idea and thought deeply about it on more than one occasion.
and MAN, the pain i feel knowing full well that the nanosecond i open my mouth and start yapping about them people are gonna ship them as a couple and--like i said before--that's fine. i can see where they're coming from. i'll admit, it does work. i'm gay, i write gay shit. but i'm not gonna lie, i'm just hoping that someone out there will be just as hype about their friendship as i am. i just want someone to know and understand. they're best friends, dammit!

they're each others' partner in crime. they know the other person better than they know themselves. they spend more time together than they spend apart. if someone was trying to impersonate one of them the other would instantly know. i say this without an OUNCE of exaggeration they would DIE for each other.
*grips you* the fucking POWER their friendship has over me. it's got me in it's unyielding grasp. i am in fact so staggeringly Not Normal over these two best friends. gRAAAGH i am downright OBSESSED. i would not have it any other way.
the history books will call them close friends because That Is What They Are.
Y'all have gotta get more insane about platonic relationships like you are about romantic relationships. We need to get more annoying about them NOW. I need to see more meta and losing our minds over them. Get more annoying NOW. More than that. More than that also.

i'm actually not that in-the-loop with the chinese vocaloids (to be honest, i'm not really up to date on vocaloids in general... or anything really... forgive me, the world moves too fast for me to keep up with most things;;; LOL), but the first one that comes to mind that has a design that'd be more my style to draw is Yanhe.
i'd say that i can see myself drawing any vocaloid in the future (any language), i just have to be in the right mood for it. it might take me a while to get around to drawing the different vocaloids, but i've been meaning to draw more vocaloid stuff in general so it's very possible!
