Some concept ideas from the “To Be or Not to Be” episode!! 👑🐸🥀
I’ve never really used maroons combined with purple like this in any of my art before, so experimenting it with these screenshots was so fun!!! It didn’t turn out exactly as I had hoped but I still think it gets the aura I was reaching for :D

On Zoe gaining from Chloe's losses,
Andre, most normal people viewing it from the outside would see it as no great loss, but the show narrative treats Chloe as being too awful to deserve a "wonderful" father like Andre and him finally having the loving daughter he deserves, further I don't think a real person in Chloe's position would consider what happened a good thing.
The Bee miraculous, Chloe isn't unique in linking her sense of self worth to her role as a hero. Marinette in particular relies on being Ladybug. Also, it was pretty clear how she felt about it and Zoe took the miraculous anyway.
I don't blame Zoé too much, she protested and Ladybug insisted. Imagine you're a 12-13 y/o and a superhero tells you to do something.
And yeah the narrative can go suck eggs on André. He is a piece of shit father who shifts blame onto everyone but himself for all of his actions. He has been that way from the beginning. He hasn't stopped as of the last time we saw him.
So I will never write it as a loss having that man out of Chloé's life.

The moment that I (and properly Marinette?) fell for Luka
P3 is a headcanon that Luka is too sensitive to others’ feelings, sometimes it hurts. He can write a song for Marinette’s heart, and that, of course includes those negative feelings.
Or I just love to make my favs cry.
