Michael Schimmele as Babkak in Aladdin!
another aladdin sketchbook doodle. this one is from right before high adventure starts where Omar is convincing Kassim that they need to save Al
i've got a little bit more time on my hands lately so I'm trying to do more sketchbook stuff, and drawing these guys is always fun. I've drawn them so long it comes naturally at this point
Bonus photo of the boys with their prints. Love these legends. And love this pic so much <3
BOK silkscreen prints. They are each 6x8 inches in size. Done for the current Broadway cast back in Feb 2022.
Made these in my college silkscreen class and my teacher straight up jumpscared me and asked "who's Kassim" when I was printing and so I explained he's from Aladdin. Tell me why this man then said "mmm, looks like Aladdin in leather"
the egyptian dino who I love so well
Carchar doodle requested by @purplefloyd
omar! he's fabulous, he's cute, he's riddled with anxiety.
been watching naruto so here's a little sketchbook doodle of Kakashi since he's my favorite
i always feel weird drawing anime hair, i feel like drawing super big poofy hair can look awkward in my style, but i think i found a compromise here
him and guy (gai?) are so sweet together i love them
i love Babkak and Omar's relationship so much. we don't get a ton of vocal interactions between them on stage, but physical interactions? they are always hanging out and they're very affectionate with each other.
this scene could be happening:
a) while Kassim is explaining his newest potential crime scheme
or b) during one of Al and Kassim's arguments

hello I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. The anonymity of tumblr means that I associate my idea/image of you with your icon and sometimes I look at people’s icons and I’m like ‘hmmm….what is that and why?’
so pls reblog this and comment in the tags the meaning behind your icon and why you chose it. this is a social experiment. do it for science pls.
Silkscreen print done for my boy Brian Gonzales. I made him an art package back in May and this was one of the pieces.
When you do silkscreen, you print one color at a time and have to line all the ink up each time, so I included the other two pics so you guys can see the process. So in total, there are three colors used: first the lightest green, then a darker green, then the darkest green on top.
Brian is literally such a legend. Nicest dude ever, and such a talent. Love that king.
Babkak cosplay from this past Halloween. Since people here seem to enjoy my Aladdin art, I decided to share the costume I created.
Fully handmade by me over the course of about two months. I slaved over this thing and I am overjoyed with how it came out!
I didn't get a good full costume pic outside during the day so I had to take one in my room. Forgive my dirty mirror.
Bonus bit of lore: this cosplay was approved by king Brian Gonzales himself.
this ones for all the kassim enjoyers out there. love this dude, don't draw him nearly enough
