jiang cheng and "everything I've let go of has claw marks on it," jiang cheng and "as for love, why is it never enough to save us?", jiang cheng and "and those you do not forgive, you find impossible to forget," jiang cheng and "i am someone who did not die when i should have died," jiang cheng and "am i supposed to be grateful for having survived this?" jiang cheng and "i sat with my anger long enough, until she told me her real name was grief," jiang cheng and "we leave doors open for people who will never knock again," jiang cheng and "you are shaking fists and trembling teeth. i know; you did not mean to be cruel. that does not mean you were kind," jiang cheng and "isn't all that rage so ugly? and isn't it mine still? good god, isn't it mine?" jiang cheng and "if i cannot be loved, then i must be feared."
dearly beloathed,
Does anyone
have like an exhaustive master source for clothes/garments worn in China throughout every century? It can be either a link or a book i’ll have to buy. It also doesn’t have to be every century or every piece if clothing, I just want a good place to start. Preferably not from a blog, but i’ll still look at them.
I want to make clothes for an oc but I want to know exactly what i’m drawing and its significance/lack of significance/etc
He dies if you don't pay attention to him, its a very urgent situation for an uncle to attend to.

Shizun! Shizun! Shizun!!!!!!! 😘😘💕✨
SVSSS may be from Shen Qinqiu's narrative point of view but it is in fact, the Luo Binghe book, as he is the one that carries the plot consequences of Shen Qingqiu's changed plot beats.
It would not evolve without the core story relying on Luo Binghe's actions for and against Shen Qingqiu, the technical "villain" of the work, who, despite being the protagonist narratively for the audience, is not the in story protagonist. The role of the plot protagonist is still Luo Binghe as he follows the intro, exposition, fall, and conclusion of the main character.
As deemed by the system change, Shen Qingqiu is the deuteragonist and main love interest. As following the split of protagonist/antagonist, it is not Luo Binghe that is revealed to have been in the wrong, but of Shen Qingqiu's own assumptions due to "previous knowledge" that he insists is still the same that causes hurdles for both. He is made to step out of the villain impeding the growth of the main role, into realizing his role and place as the deuteragonist love interest.
antis hate Jiang Cheng for ‘abandoning’ Wei Wuxian, but did he realistically have any other options available?Â
for my money, the non-negotiable goals for Jiang Cheng in this situation are
keep Wei Wuxian alive and not in the custody of another clan
ease the pressure from the other clans to take responsibility for/act against Wei WuxianÂ
maintain the Jiang clan’s autonomy and standing amongst the clans
and the non-negotiable goals for Wei Wuxian in this situation are
keep Jiang Cheng and the Jiang clan safe, alive, and out of the direct control of other clans (especially the Jin)Â
undermine Jiang Cheng’s authority as clan leader as little as possibleÂ
keep the Wen safe, alive, and free (ish– at least as free as they are now)Â
continue trying to save Wen Ning/keep him ‘alive’ once he’s revivedÂ
do not reveal to anyone that he has lost his golden coreÂ
do not give anyone the Yin Tiger TallyÂ
Wei Wuxian returning to the Jiang is off the table because he won’t leave the Wen. Wei Wuxian AND the Wen somehow coming into the custody of the Jiang isn’t possible because Jiang Cheng doesn’t have that much clout, and it’s hard to believe that Wei Wuxian would accept a situation that would necessarily have to look a lot like imprisonment for the Wen if the other clans were going to accept it. so already, the only way for Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian to both achieve some of their key goals is for Wei Wuxian to stay in the Burial Mounds with the Wen somehow– which means the only goals remaining to both of them are ensuring that the Jiang clan doesn’t get punished for that, or placed in a situation where they’re forced to act violently against Wei Wuxian/the Burial Mounds/the Wen (and yes, obviously it comes to that eventually anyway, but a lot changes first). and canon is explicitly clear that the other clans are absolutely not about to let the Jiang off the hook for what Wei Wuxian is doing. they want and need him to turn on Wei Wuxian, and if he won’t, they don’t really care about dragging this decimated, teenager-led clan down with Wei Wuxian.Â
the Jiang clan has nothing at this point, barely even a home. even if the other clans were open to reaching a compromise in terms of the Wei Wuxian situation, who on earth is going to believe him if he says, I’ve got the Wei Wuxian situation handled, I’m going to leave him in the Burial Mounds and keep an eye on him, he’s my problem not yours?Â
and that’s the final, essential element– Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian are not in a fair fight. the other clans are actively pushing them towards conflict, and won’t accept any outcome besides a complete break, or a complete capitulation by Wei Wuxian.Â
maybe I’m just not feeling creative today, but I genuinely can’t come up with a single other solution beyond the one that the two of them find and implement in canon– a fake schism and staged fight.Â
if you close your eyes and imagine you can pretend this is not 2 years later and i, in fact, have a consistent update schedule. eheheeheheh
In all seriousness, this is a good moment to remind everyone whos still here (hi) that im, above all, an artist in college, and not a particularly good or efficient or dedicated writer.
I started writing as a creative outlet during one of the worst art blocks ive ever had, which left me anxious and antsy with the need to make something. Anything at all. I wrote chapters 1 through 4 in a semiconscious state and tried to keep the pace afterwards. Im making art again, and writing doesn't come as easily anymore.
That being said, I have a sense of responsibility to this fic, and scenes i already wrote and im excited to weave into the story, so ill do my very best to give a finished result, for my own peace of mind and for you wonderful people who gave my silly story a shot and wrote such sweet comments.
im honestly so happy I can write something other people find fun, and not just me! :D
im always joking im my own target audience, but i adore your thoughts and comments, its honestly one of the things that stopped me from just abandoning all interest for finishing.
so, at my own pace and enjoyment, im going to continue to write. and even if it takes much more time, ill be flattered for those who continue to accompany me for as long as they wish to or until im finished ^^
