This is Maple! I wanted to create a traveling cat character. I was inspired by the dabloon trend over on TikTok I will admit. More rambling about them under the cut

They aren’t a merchant but if they have any extra items they’re more than happy to share. Though they love their shiny and or soft things and won’t part with those easy. If you try to offer for the ring or bracelet they will be slightly upset no matter how much you offer.

Their little bag is enchanted to hold just about anything and never fill up, anything that goes in comes out in the same state, food remains hot or cold. They keep a journal which they wrote about their travels and sometimes draw. (Yes they have a pencil in their belt the other thing in the belt is a potion)

They will try to befriend anything. This is both a threat to themselves and the one they are trying to befriend.

If you don’t like doing art warmups because you want to get straight to the thing you wanna draw, do a warmup related to what you want to be drawing. I wanna draw heracross so to warm up I’m drawing roly-poly’s (pill bugs whatever).

I just find that trying to draw random shapes as warmups just makes me bored and uninterested.

You ever think about how if people study you in art class they’ll use your posts as references? Like some student 50 years from now is gonna look at my posts for an assignment on fanart or something and I will have to answer to what they think
