Yesterday, Palestinian and solidarity organizers disrupted a Biden campaign event 14 times during his speech on the protection of women's rights. These activists called out hypocrisy because Biden and his administration are actively causing a reproductive care catastrophe in Gaza.
50,000 pregnant women do not have access to healthcare in Gaza, and C-sections are being performed without anesthesia. Women and children in Gaza are being killed by U.S.-made and supplied bombs.

[ID: Transcription of what the protesters are saying, while security personnel try to get them out:
Israel kills two mothers every hour in Gaza. Ceasefire now! End the genocide! Ceasefire!
Women in Gaza are being murdered. Killing people in Gaza is a war crime. You are a war criminal.
Stop funding genocide! Ceasefire now!
50,000 pregnant women don't have healthcare. Their blood is on your hands. Ceasefire!
Ceasefire now! Stop funding genocide! Gaza is a reproductive issue.
Free, free Palestine!

The Bones Beneath My Skin by TJ Klune is a supernatural road trip thriller featuring an extraordinary young girl and her two unlikely protectors on the run from cultists and the government. WHAT’S IT ABOUT In the spring of 1995, Nate Cartwright has lost everything: his parents are dead, his only brother wants nothing to do with him, and he’s been fired from his job as a journalist in Washington, DC. With nothing left to lose, he returns to his family’s summer cabin outside the small mountain town of Roseland, Oregon, to try and find some sense of direction. The cabin should be empty. It’s not. Inside is a man named Alex. And with him is a mysterious ten-year-old girl who calls herself Artemis Darth Vader. Artemis isn’t exactly as she appears. Soon it becomes clear that Nate must make a choice: let himself drown in the memories of his past, or fight for a future he never thought possible. Because the girl is special. And forces are descending upon them who want nothing more than to control her.
so a headcanon for you:
catra has trouble sleeping alone, she is prone to nightmares. entrapta has trouble sleeping alone, she gets big anxiety about it and sleeps poorly. entrapta tends to sneak around so shes sleeping in the vents of where other people are resting and they get used to this presence. some people welcome it, those hardest of sleep who don’t mind the sound of snoring.
anyway catra and entrapta are able to recognise this in each other, so when adora is away, and entrapta is hit by the… unexpected need to sleep, they nap together. starts off with sharing a communal bunk in the space ship, evolves into actual cuddling.
they love this state of affairs. it is far easier to relax.

Big fan of characters realizing they don't get to die. They have to live. And grow. And be a person. And deal with shit they thought they'd never have to. And be fucked up about it. I would like more of this. Enough dying for honor or as redemption. It ain't. You're just a corpse. There is no moral value in dirt time.
