Whumpee who has had to fend for themselves from a young age (maybe their parent died, maybe they were abandoned, maybe they were a victim of child abuse) and now they have Caretaker who takes care of them when they're sick, gives them hugs when they're sad, helps them when they're hurt etc. and Whumpee breaks down because it's just been so long since someone cared about them like that
can someone please be proud of me like fuck I’m trying
If harry potter was born in the 21st century, no one can convince me that harry wouldn't be an angsty teen. He would be blasting out some mcr or p!atd or some rock. He would also make so many dark jokes and confuse everyone, concerning people aswell.
Someone: Harry, you ready for this year to be over?
Harry: I'm ready for this life to be over
Someone:Are you alright man?
--------------------------------------------------
Someone: I wish I was dead!
Harry: mood.
Like he would be so depressed but so funny and just make everyone worried. Just my little thought.
Hugh going tricker treating
I see a lot of “Bruce accidentally uses his Batman Voice during a regular business meeting and freaks everyone out” but I haven’t seen much of this trope’s counterpart: “Batman acidentally zoning out durnig another JL meeting and when he’s asked a question responds with his Brucie persona and freaks everyone the FUCK out”
Calling a canon bisexual woman a lesbian becuase she has a female love interest or is in a wlw relationship is bisexual erasure and biphobic!!!!
Emily: On a scale of 1-10, how bad do you want to kill me right now?
Hotch: I’m hovering somewhere in the high thirties.
She would not be feminine under any circumstances
I think it needs to become common knowledge that "inability to read social cues" can show up as overcompensating.
You don't know how much misbehaviour is allowed, so you become the perfect child who never tests rules.
You don't know if someone is irritated with you, so you'll be extra generous and self-effacing.
You don't know how much is expected of you at work so you'll kill yourself in a minimum-wage job and not notice that nobody else is working like this.
"Hardworking and quiet" should be as much of an autism red flag as "ignores rules and doesn't know when to stop talking". Or why don't we just start using words to communicate so i can stop tracking everybody's eyebrow twitches, that would be great.
JL sets up a betting pool to see who can get Superman to say "fuck" first. Everybody gets so intense about this, but no matter what they do, they cannot get him to say anything worse than hell. Bruce is so tired of this, so at a meeting one day he just takes off his cowl and reveals his identity with zero build up or warning and Superman just lets out the loudest "What the fuck?"
