and this is definitely because ao3 is down. and not because i am the least consistent writer of all time. i definitely am not posting because ao3 is down and no other reason. 🤗

yet another question for the writers of tumblr, but this time around, it is for fanfic writers & the fanfic writers alone...

in the fan-fiction community, i think we've pretty much all come to accept the existence of the fanfic writer curse (for those who don't know what that means, it typically refers to fanfic writers often experiencing crazy things like car crashes or personal problems that stop them from updating for a bit).

i've heard so many different, crazy stories of fanfic curses in different places, and so, i figured why don't we compile a bunch of them, all in one post?

so... fanfic writers of tumblr, what is the worst occurrence of the fanfic curse you've ever experienced?

i had a dream last night of a kataang streamer au and my first thought when i woke up was oh no not another wip to add to all the new ideas ive come up with

my head-canon is that aang would be a rock climber. and how dare you insinuate that i'm only saying that because i'm a rock climber and i love aang with all my heart. i simply think this and i am correct because. no further questions thank u 😌❤️

i think i might need to write dickkory college AU fic where the titans are all roommates in a shit first year dorm apartment 🤨

atla tumblr, i need help!

i'm working on a summer olympics atla au oneshot, and while i have picked some of the gaang's sports, i'm struggling a little extra with choosing sports for katara and zuko.

for reference, aang & toph are both rock climbers (for reasons that will be clear upon reading), sokka is a fencer (and yes, sokka calls his fencing sword a "space sword"), mai competes in the shooting event (because c'mon, mai with a gun just makes sense), suki does judo, and azula does volleyball (very competitively, think back to the beach episode).

important poll regarding my teenage aang kataang fic- the teenager in the iceberg!!

i'm working on my plot points for the new chapter, but honestly, i'm a bit on the fence. the next three episodes in the TV series are Bato of the Water Tribe, The Deserter, and The Northern Air Temple. Only BOTWT and The Deserter really have moments that i feel like are important for KAs relationship (the burning of katara's hands, aang betraying them), but TNAT is also an important insight into aangs character. i can't guarantee that i'll follow the results of the poll verbatim, but i'm curious to hear your opinions.
