Just a fun, silly, "fanart of fanart" thing I did, picking one specific character and emotion and trying to sketch it in the style of a bunch of different artists whose work I enjoy. Boy howdy, that is QUITE a mental workout to imitate eleven different artists. This is like the "eating your vegetables" of art practice except I happen to fucking love vegetables. Also, if I butchered your art style, I'm sorry, I'm an absolute madlad and must be stopped. I adore the work of each artist here and tried to do it some semblance of justice.

BOY HOWDY AM I EXCITED TO SHARE THIS ONE WITH YOU ALL. This piece is cover art for @thescholarlystrumpet's wonderful 1940s priest AU fic: For Loving One (Rated E on AO3, mind yer tags) ...which you can and should read, asap. Chapter 10 (of 16!) just went up today, and yes, Strumpet does have the whole fic already written and ready to post, so you won't get abandoned on a cliffhanger. For my part, I wanted to call upon some 1940s aesthetics with a little bit of film noir and some Leyendecker-esque vibes. I hope you like my interpretation! Alsoooooo take some time to check out all the things I painted into that stained glass.
