not great at reading social clues

has trouble understanding people’s tones (interprets everything as inherently hostile, even if someone is joking with him)

has a definite special interest (serial killers and crime in general)

is very well-spoken, but has trouble articulating his feelings

switches between intense eye contact or none at all

not comfortable talking with kids his age

deliberately cuts himself off from his classmates (sitting at a different table at breakfast, is in the library 90% of the time)

both are organizations not recognized by the government in which they get rid of a threat that used to be human (demons, ghosts) with specialized tools (nichirin blades, proton blasters) in order to protect people but one of the Bad Things (demons, ghosts) is good and is on their side (nezuko, slimer)
