Imagine being married to a MAN who asks GOD to help him LOVE you CORRECTLY.
Qasim Rafique
4 promises from Allah:
“So remember me, I will remember you.” (2:152)
“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.” (14:7)
“Call upon me and I will respond to you.” (40:60)
“Allah will not punish them while they seek forgiveness.” (8:33)
عملوا أولادكم أن الحب حلال؛ وأن الحب أخلاق, وأن الأنثى أمانة, وليست للإهانة, الأنثى كرامة, علموهم أن الأنثى وطن والوطن لا يخان
Teach your children that love is halal; love is manners, and that the female is a trust, not to insult; the female is an honour. Teach them that the female is a homeland and a homeland is to always be protected, not betrayed.
Luqmān (rahimahullah) was asked how he achieved wisdom?
he said:
• Truthful speech
• Fulfilling trust and
• Leaving what does not concern me
[Muwatta of al-Malik (rahimahullah), 1859]
Recognize when things no longer serve a purpose and begin to harm you. You let it go not because of arrogance or pride but because it doesn't fit into your life anymore. So close the chapter, learn the lessons and shake off the dust. Don’t waste your life. Move on.
Ya Allah, I ask You to cover me, to refine my heart, to discipline my nature, to improve my character, to regulate my behavior, and I ask You to occupy me with goals that are worthy of Your path, to bless me with wisdom in speech, the art of silence, eloquence in response, majesty in presence, and grace in absence.
A beautiful piece of advice with a powerful illustration to go with it. Have a good long think about this one:
“The greater the distance between Allāh and the spouses the greater the distance between the spouses themselves..and the closer you are to Allāh, the closer you will be to your spouse”.
Oh Allah, my Lord. I trust You more than myself. Be with me, I need You. Please don't leave me alone
