Zane was the last one over the bridge in the pyramid and even though he physically made it over, we all recall what happened to him at the end of the fire chapter

Zane gets into abstract painting at his therapists suggestion because it helps him visualize his feelings and express them, and he ends up setting up a little studio to center all his art supplies. Cole, partly on his therapists suggestion as well, and his own inclination to earth and art based hobbies, takes up pottery and working with clay. He and Zane share their space and end up making a lot of things together! Cole works up a vase and Zane paints it, that's the system. Their very first collaborative piece is proudly displayed front and center in their living room... despite its lumps and messy paint, they wouldn't replace it for the world

Art Style Bend! Thank you everyone who commented, I really appreciated that you all notice these things about my art! I’m not sure if i succeeded with this, but I sure did like the outcome :]

hmmm... 

eyes are rounded (and sometimes just circles depending on what mood you’re going for in the artwork); the characters are very expressive. curved and angled lines are used alternately when needed to correctly portray a facet of something's design, although more often than not the lines are curved. the shading is generally flat, but that varies. i think i’m forgetting something... oh! another distinctive thing you do is that you also draw these little lines on the noses as well as a blush-y thing on the faces.

Part one of my drawings for the anniversary zine happy birthday Mr Ninjago :)

I realized I actually have time now to work on my lyric comic and figured I should probably make a ref for myself for the twins outfits since armor is a bitch and I’m gonna b drawing it a lot lol

I really just looked at their canon outfits and simplified them a bit so I don’t lose my mind everytime I draw them ^^;
