zoro is the pettiest man alive I swear LMAO. luffy said he needed zoro and the man proceeded to never be normal about it ever again. relax, bby, no one is going to take luffy from you!
zoro in opla: I guess I’ll join you…………….*goes thru a near death experience where he wakes up to luffy saying he needs him* you are my captain & I am your loyal and devoted first mate I would die for you I will never disappoint you again I will follow you like a weary traveler to a flame I —
zoro in the anime/manga, within a week: ha ha ha you’re the son of the devil! sure I’ll float around in a dinghy with you aimlessly for weeks! yes I’ll carry a cage that took five men to move while bleeding out from a massive wound for you! sure I’d die for you! of course we’ll follow our dreams together!

Tiny baby.
He's not even that tiny, Crocodile...!
Just another silly doodle, pondering this again. (Here's the previous doodle I did about Crocodile stressing out over his tiny child *lol*)
do you ever think about how zoro doesnt have his own dedicated arc? how he is introduced in the same arc as luffy, the main character? how luffy, upon hearing his name, seeks him out and finds him, zoro, someone who is known for being constantly lost? how he decides that now that he has zoro, the rest of the crew will join as they go, it will happen naturally, that everything will be fine as long as he has zoro? how he wasnt a captain until zoro wasnt his crew man, his first mate, his? and at the same time, zoros story's stagnant, doesnt pick up, doesnt progress, how it almost ends before it could really begin if it wasnt for luffy? how theres no conflict in him joining, no internal fight- just pure acceptance, the matter-of-factly belief and unbelievable devotion within seconds? how their dreams are instantly intertwined, one making the other even more possible together, together?
It's actually depressing to do things in your own time, way and opinion. Mostly because people often disagrees with you and they prefer to do what's more popular now, and if you don't follow the trend, you're just a weirdo trying to fit in. A block in a jigsaw puzzle. But don't let it bring you down. There are still people who will accept you for who you are.
