Fans are allowed to make their own headcanon and interpret the source material as they see fit. Fans also have the freedom to ignore canon completely and ship the fictional characters they want to ship

To me, the view that supporting or liking fictional incest normalizes incest in real life does not add up

TUA’s a violent show. Does that mean supporting a violent show also normalizes violence in real life? Does it make viewers wake up one day, randomly throw knives or take people out with rifles? Does it make real life pre teens amassing high body counts ok?
