Klaus: i hope that when the human race goes extinct, the aliens see all of our “Jesus is coming” signs and assume that he ate us.
Ben: what is wrong with you?

I finally did @doyoulikemynickname20's prompt (which you can find here). Well... sort of.
This is a continuation of the comic where Crocodile tells Dragon that they're having a child. There probably should be another comic in between where they decide what they're going to do. But right now I'm leaving it up to your imagination.
Roronoa "I need to match the color of my sash with the color of my captain's shirt" Zoro
Captain's favorite place
luffy’s constant connections to anchors (e.g. his iconic anchor shirt, shank’s nickname for him) and him becoming an anchor for every strawhat.
he is definitely as good as an anchor in the sea, but he equally keeps his crew steady and afloat. for characters like zoro, brook and robin- they were aimless and simply going through the motions of life before him, like a boat would continue to sway on the open seas without one. their isolation was instantly lost with their admission into the crew, they had something to love and to anchor themselves to.
the way he gave his hat to nami in arlong park, supporting her as she fell into despair. he anchored her in quite a literal way and brought her back to him. for sanji, luffy refusing to eat in wci if it was not sanji’s food. even at the cost of himself, the wear of starvation, being in the center of enemy territory. he jumped completely into dark and scary waters to give sanji reassurance, he could not be the pirate king without him. for chopper in drum island, as luffy held up doctor hiriluk's flag when the connecting pole broke from explosion. for jinbe, as luffy’s offer to join his crew remained unconditional- a home that would not waver, to strive for. for every member in so many ways, whether small, monumental or everyday.
i would say that it even extends past the strawhats. my mind turns to sabo, ace, koby, bartolomeo, law, etc. every person he interacts with, he acts as an unmovable beacon of everything luffy. he is a brother, a friend, an ally, an enemy, an idol, all with such an unshakable certainty. he has the certainty of the sun, rising each morning and setting each evening, he has the certainty of an anchor.
even in his steady personality, he is assurance. there is very, very little that sways luffy, his smile is a guarantee as much as his kindness and support for others is. shanks was right, luffy is an anchor. what a wonderful anchor he is
do you ever think about how zoro doesnt have his own dedicated arc? how he is introduced in the same arc as luffy, the main character? how luffy, upon hearing his name, seeks him out and finds him, zoro, someone who is known for being constantly lost? how he decides that now that he has zoro, the rest of the crew will join as they go, it will happen naturally, that everything will be fine as long as he has zoro? how he wasnt a captain until zoro wasnt his crew man, his first mate, his? and at the same time, zoros story's stagnant, doesnt pick up, doesnt progress, how it almost ends before it could really begin if it wasnt for luffy? how theres no conflict in him joining, no internal fight- just pure acceptance, the matter-of-factly belief and unbelievable devotion within seconds? how their dreams are instantly intertwined, one making the other even more possible together, together?

Listen I was fine with thinking the same thing about Mashima and Nalu in terms of shounen ships; he just makes them extremely close bc shounen friendships are always strangely the most passionate relationships in the entire genre, all the stuff with Lucy being naked around Natsu is just typical shounen fan service. Yep. Nakama. Titties. Same stuff. Don't read into it. These shounen authors don't think about romance unless its extremely apparent that they have a love interest for their MC.
But when this mf released the Edolas chapter
Edolas Nalu are MARRIED. WITH A KID.
I am FULLY convinced this dude knows exactly what he's doing and fucking with all of us Nalu truthers
+the Nalu art he draws himself on twitter
The edging this man is doing with Nalu is one for the history books, a generational con atp
Bro is a villain
It's actually depressing to do things in your own time, way and opinion. Mostly because people often disagrees with you and they prefer to do what's more popular now, and if you don't follow the trend, you're just a weirdo trying to fit in. A block in a jigsaw puzzle. But don't let it bring you down. There are still people who will accept you for who you are.
