dunno if you like comics but there was a new x-man character introduced this year who i think you'd love
her name is calico and she has a psychic link with her horse ember and she can even give her horse different superpowers

And it looks like the horse might be a liver chestnut roan, that's one of my favorite colors!!!
I do love comics, but X-Men has always seemed so daunting to get into. Closest I've got is Ultimate Spider-Man (2000-2011), which I did love (though I'd been warned to stay away from the rest of the Ultimate storyline, and after reading a few of their Spider-Man crossovers, yeah, I see why).
Most of what I read is Saga (though it's been tough keeping up after they killed my waifus), Hellboy/the extended Mignolaverse, and various web/indie comics. And of course my beloved nostalgic Wendy comics<3
Do you have any suggestions for where to start off with X-Men?
I wonder who's the lucky guy who gave up their heart for this dying chef here...?
