Peter, trying not to give his age away: I’m pregnant
I just saw this tiktok video of what I believe is an Indian drama. I'm not 100% sure if it was a show or movie. I couldn't find the name on it. But in the video, it was described that a village made its money by selling off daughters to wealthy men for marriage. The female lead was the "ugly" girl (she was not ugly) who managed a side business off this main business by having the potential grooms see her first as their bride and then showing the real girl. Basically, helping with negotiations saying, "Hey, you could've gotten me, but instead, we have this gem here. Don't you think she's worth more?" After getting the higher bride price she takes her cut.
After watching, I said I could see Kate and Penelope making a small business doing this around the ton. Not to say they aren't beautiful, they are, and the girl in the original video was beautiful too. They just don't fit society beauty standards. Actually, side note now that I think about it canonically the only one of the wives who did was Sophie. Sophie was described to fit the ton's beauty standards to a t and would probably have been the incomparable/diamond of her debute season if she was born legitimate.
Anyway, Kate probably started it. For one reason or another, they couldn't wait for Edwina to debute, and Kate wasn't having a successful season, so she thought of a way to earn some money to help her family. It started as an accident, Kate was visiting a friend the same time negotiations were happening for her friend's engagement. Her friend has never met the lord, and two just so happened to walk by the room the negotiations were happening in. The lord saw Kate before her friend and assumed she was to be his bride. He was about to be outraged until her friend turned the corner. Things went much better for the bride to be in the negotiations after that.
Kate's friend apologized for the situation, but the wheels in Kate's head were turning. She didn't care all that much about being compared to her friend. Strangers loved to unpromptly compare her to Edwina when they were together and Kate couldn't really bring herself to care she has other things to worry about. But this new development, might work in her favor.
So Kate started offering her services to get brides to be better deals on marriage negotiations. First looks from arranged marriages she'll be in front and then show the real bride. Sometimes, be part of the negotiations by giving little reminders that hey, she is still in need of a husband, and if they want to pay less, then they can negotiate with her family. Sometimes, she didn't have to do anything besides sit next to the bride to be and just talk with her as a silent reminder. Kate also offered services such as attending balls with her clients and spreading word about bride's accomplishments. Kate would get her cut, which helped her family's financial situation longer, just long enough to get Edwina married.
A few years pass, and Kate is booked, possibly overly so. She has more and more parents there who wish for her to be part of the negotiations. There are so many that there is no possible way she can do them all by herself. Unless she gets a partner.
In 1813, Kate saw a miserable wallflower standing at the edge of one of the balls. That yellow dress did not do the poor girl any favors with her complexion, nor did the shape help with her curvy figure. Her poor red hair reminded Kate of an overdone poodle. She looked to be Edwina's age, and that made Kate's big sister instincts go off.
Introductions were made, and Kate learned the girl's name was Penelope Featherington. Kate learned the girl was rather smart and witty when she relaxed around you. She, like Kate, had a good head on her shoulders and it's a shame others don't see that.
Oh well, their loss is Kate's gain.
"Penelope, how would you feel about helping me with some business?" Kate asked one night at a ball. She had a negotiation to go to tomorrow and it would be an ideal time to take her new friend to get her feet wet.
Penelope looked up at Kate. "What kind of business?"
Kate took Penelope with her to the negotiations, and the deals doubled in favor of the bride.
Kate grinned the first time her friend participated in negotiations, raising deals much more favorably for the bride. By mid-season, Penelope will be ready to go on her own. Which will be good because next season, Edwina debutes. Kate will have to focus on her while Penelope takes on the majority of the negotiation calls. When Edwina is settled then Kate can fully jump back in. Which hopefully shouldn't be too hard, Kate knows Edwina will be popular, so it's just a matter of sorting the good men from the rakes. After that Kate can fully focus on her business.
It will all go according to plan.
A/N: What, I couldn't think of a new gif idea. Don't judge me. Anyway, my laptop has been acting weird so I might not be updating as frequently. I'll try to keep it consistent though. Also, confession time, I don't particularly like Damian but I hope I was at least faithful to his character.

Damian sat stiffly in the back seat, the city’s lights flickering across the window like a metronome. Alfred hummed quietly from the driver’s seat, an old jazz record playing low beneath the rumble of Gotham's streets. He wasn’t really listening. His eyes were fixed on the sidewalk they passed—the boarded-up storefronts, cracked concrete, and faint trails of ivy creeping where they didn’t belong.
Then something caught his eye.
Two figures, ducking through the narrow breach of a long-forgotten building. The glass dome above gave it away.
A conservatory.
His brows knit as he craned slightly, watching Melissa Wayne disappear through the broken wall. She was laughing—a soft, theatrical sound. And beside her—
There. That other one.
An unfamiliar student. Damian could only see their profile, but they were smiling too.
His frown deepened.
“—Are you listening, Master Damian?” Alfred asked gently.
“I saw something,” Damian muttered, still watching. “They shouldn’t be in there.”
Alfred didn’t respond. But Damian wasn’t looking for permission.
He didn’t trust Melissa. He never had.
But it wasn’t her that held his attention.
Melissa Wayne was far from exceptional. In his mind, at least.
She didn’t possess any athletic prowess, wit, or intelligence. The only thing distinct about her was her simpering visage—a perpetual mask of demureness, carefully arranged, right down to the slight tilt of her head and the way she blinked just a second too slow. She was practiced. Performed. Vaguely, she reminded him of the socialites who clung to his father during charity galas—smiles and silk gloves, hiding emptiness underneath.
She walked like someone who could only follow. Spoke like every word was a test.
She had a knack for drifting just close enough to be noticed, then fading into the periphery when it suited her. Never too loud. Never too quiet. Just... there. And hollow.
Damian had seen it before. In court. In League spies. In orphans trained to survive by becoming whatever someone else needed.
But Melissa?
She didn’t even do it well.
It was all mimicry. Secondhand charm and borrowed elegance. And yet, somehow, Father still looked at her with a kind of weary obligation, as if trying to fit her into a frame she didn’t belong in.
She bore the Wayne name, but not its weight. A bastard from a dalliance with some drug-addled harlot.
And Damian had never been more certain of that than now, watching her disappear into the ruins of the conservatory like a ghost playing house.
What interested him was the one who followed her.
The one beside her. The girl who walked into the darkened building with such a warm smile.
“Pennyworth, I’m leaving,” Damian announced, already opening the door. “Tell Father I’ll return.”
It was child’s play to slip into the shadows after them, though it would’ve drawn too much attention to follow them directly. Instead, he slunk into the green gloom surrounding a slumping side exit, swallowed by the ever-encroaching vegetation.
The conservatory loomed above him—rusted beams swallowed by ivy, glass warped and cracked like old bone. Damian narrowed his eyes at the structure. Sentiment. That’s what drew people to ruins—the desperate need to assign beauty to something that had long since rotted. He didn’t understand it.
He crouched low near a collapsed trellis, silent as mist, and tracked movement through the gaps in the stained glass. The figures inside cast shadows—one tall and poised, the other more inward. Melissa’s laugh chimed again, muffled by the thick, damp air. He could see the way she tilted her head, leaned in just so. He’d seen that posture before—a pathetic display of submissiveness from her bowed head to her large, watery eyes.
But the other girl didn’t mirror it, from what he could see. The dusk darkened his view, but still—she stood slightly apart, watching and listening. When she laughed, it was real. Not the kind you staged.
Damian studied her longer than he meant to.
She moved with ease. Not trained—nothing polished—but she wasn’t wary of the space. Or of Melissa. That was... rare.
He adjusted his footing on the soft soil, the hem of his uniform brushing against the weeds as he continued his quiet surveillance. Something about the scene gnawed at him. There was too much softness in it. Too much calm.
And calm, in Gotham, never lasted.
He tapped his comm and muted it. No reason to alert the Cave—yet. This was inconsequential. If it escalated, he’d act.
For now, he stayed in the green-dark, watching the two girls in the crumbling greenhouse. One, hollow and scheming. The other... confusing.
He didn’t know her name.
But she didn’t belong with Melissa Wayne.
She belonged somewhere better.
And Damian intended to find out where.
When the setting sun was finally extinguished, he watched as the two of you exited, trailing shadows nipping at your heels. He followed—certain he had not been detected. How could he be? He was the heir of the Demon’s Head, and you were civilians.
That’s what he thought—until you turned and looked over your shoulder. It could’ve been mistaken for you calling back to Melissa, if you hadn’t caught his eye.
An accident, he assured himself.
But you smiled. A cheeky, knowing smile.
Had you known he was there the entire time?
He froze beneath the greenery as Melissa remained clueless to his presence. As the two of you mounted the bike, he heard you laugh.
“What’s so funny?” Melissa asked, smiling but clearly confused.
“Thought I saw a rat.”
A rat? he thought, and Melissa echoed it.
“Yeah, small one. Ugly, though.” You chuckled, pushing off and pedaling away.
It was embarrassing how long it took to process your words. But when they registered, he flushed an indignant red.
That insolent little—

Tonowari

I hope you like the little beginning of the story from Kittys and my Sisters! 🥰💜 It took me forever (and its just a sketch, for more I had no time and energy) but I am happy I pushed it through.
Also it was the first time for me drawing Tonowari x.x it was hard I hope I got him recognizable. I tried my very best. 🥺💜
I am excited to hear what you think about it. :3
Like in this AU the only wayvto be an official and legal hero is to be granted this position by the crown. Kinda like nobility except the only thing you get out of it is a high salary and a lot of glory.
And the Bridgerton are the more popular family of heroes. They are good looking, powerfull and they a legacy of being the greatest hero family since the apparition of super powers.
I think after Edmund's death Anthony became the leader of the bridgertons (the hero group). Like his predecessors he doesn't have any super power. He rely on the ton's technology, kinda like Batman. He also personally train most of his siblings as his side kick.
Benedict can manifest his drawing in real life. The better the quality of the drawing the more powerfull the invocation is.
Colin can create portals and teleport. He need to have already visited the place to be able to teleport there.
Daphne have sound related powers. She had a short hero carrier before choosing to focus on her music carrier. But she's starting to get more and more attracted to the hero life again.
Francesca also has sound related power butvshe was never interested in hero life. Villains, world ending catastrophes and all those that kind of things were not for her. She would much rather have a calm life with a nice husband. Too bad the man she fell in love with was a hero too. But he promised to be carefull so...
Eloise had extra perception. Kinda like eagle vison. She can see the smallest details from very far away. She refused to become her brother's sidekick. She wanted to be a proper hero without the help of her family.
Hyacinth and Gregory had yet to start their sidekick training. But that's because they haven't discovered their powers yet. In this AU they are teenager, soon they will enter college.
I also have plenty of ideas for the spouses and what their power could be and what kind of heroes they are.
Are you okay or did you realize Ekko was right
Oops forgot to post that. I didn't have any idea how to finish this to be honest. So here it is a aonung x reader one-shot, sfw, jealous Aonung...
Aonung didn't know how all of this had happen. He hated human he did. He barely tolerated Spider and the other humans that were supposedly on their side. So how did this happen? Why was he getting all angry seeing (Y/N) laughing with Spider?
The two human had gotten closer recently and... why did it pissed him off to see them so close he... he didn't understand...
They used to be close. As close as two people who went through hell together could be. In fact they met in a peculiar situation.
He had been uncarefull and got captured by the RDA. They brought him back to their labs and kept him in some kind of weird clear cage. After a few weeks another person was brought in. It was a human, (Y/N).
They escaped together after forming an alliance. He learned that (Y/N) was part of some kind of resistance that had been fighting the RDA since before they even arrive on Pandora. He didn't really understand when she explained it but he didn't really question it since he couldn't really escape on her own.
They escape but (Y/N) got hurt... like badly...
Aonung brought her back to his village and ask his mother to help her. Ever since then She had lived amond them. Aonung took the responsablity of teaching her the metkayna way.
They got close and he didn't expect it. He didn,'t want to get close to her. Yes, she saved him but she was still a human... a nice human. A human who was funny and smart and... pretty, especialy when she laughed. He loved seeing her laugh but now that she was laughing at somebody else's joke it felt wrong.
She had put her hand on Spider's shoulder and he felt like pinch in his heart. He scoffed and walked away. Maybe she was just like evry humans after all, vile and mean and self serving. she didn't care about him, she just used him, she...
"Hey, there..." he heard, (Y/N) had followed him and he didn't notice. He turned away from her. He wasn't in the mood right now. "Are you ignoring me?" she asked in her stupidly cute voice, she still had that silly childish accent when she spoke na'vi.
"What do you want?" he ask dryly. he didn't mean for it to sound so mean but he couldn't help it. She saw that she was taken aback. She try to laughed it off. "What's wrong, big guy? why you so grumpy?" She said as she sat next to him, she scoot closer to him as she spoke. He flinched when she touched his arm. "W-What's wrong?" now she sounded really concerned.
"why do you care?" He pulled away from her. "Ao..." she reached for him. "Just leave me alone! Go make puppy eyes to your human friends." he finaly snaped. She frowned and pulled back her hand "what is that suppose to mean?" she asked. "It means leave me the fuck alone! You got what you wanted! A nice safe place to live, you don't need to pretend anymore!"
"Pretend to what?! To care? Maybe you won't believe it because I'm human but I care about you!" She screamed. "That's not the fucking problem!"
"What is it then?!" She snaped back. He stared at her and clench his fist. He wanted to scream at her, to shake her. With her big dark eyes and her plump lips, she looked so hot when she was mad. "You know what? Fuck this! I don't have to deal with you!" She turnes on her heals and walked away from him. She leaving... he made her leave... no, not like this.
He grabed her arm and pulled her a bit harshly. "Ouch! Hey!" She protested but he didn't care. He slamed her against his and stared down into her eyes. "A-Ao..." her voice was shaking "Aonung, I...". He lean down and she gasped, if she didn't wear this mask he could feel breath. Instead he rested his forehead against the top of her mask and he could hear her breathing. "Stay..." he begged and she listened. She layed the side of her face on his chest, and he got scared his heart would beat too fast.
She did stay, for a while. They talked a little but mainly they just sat next to each other in silence. Aonung felt like if he were honest right now everything would change... it scared him so he stayed silent until neither of them could stay awake anymore.
LMAOOOOOO
what is with the original atwow script and pissing. Lo'ak and Spider pissing together on a rock, Spider doing it again in the cell at Bridgehead… i’m glad they scripted it out eventually but was it necessary to include in the first place lmao
“human and Na'vi urine mixing” JAILLL
Neteyam was probably never going to be the olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya. I know this is treated basically as canon in the fandom, but we have no evidence whatsoever – neither in the movies or other sources – that he was the olo'eyktan-in-training. His desire of becoming a great warrior and the pressure he felt did not come from the fact that he was the next chief, but from the fact that he was the firstborn son of Toruk Makto and a legendary warrior in his clan.
On the other hand, in the Visual Dictionary Kiri is explicitly described as wearing garb that resemble that of a tsakarem. It’s a very specific detail to include, and to me it indicates that she was meant to succeed her mother as tsakarem after Mo'at had passed the role of tsahìk on to Neytiri.
We also know from Mo'at/Silwanin/Neytiri that, at least in the Omatikaya clan, the role of the tsahìk seems to be hereditary. The tsahìk and olo'eyktan usually become a mated pair (like it also would have been with Jake and Neytiri in the future had they not moved to the Metkayina before she could succeed Mo'at), so it makes only sense to assume that Kiri was going to become tsahìk and lead the Omatikaya alongside her future mate, but that Neteyam was never destined for that role to begin with.
I think we can also assume a similar thing for the Metkayina. In the Visual Dictionary, Tsireya is said to be the tskarem, but with Ao'nung it’s not suggested that he will be the next chief.
I could be wrong, of course, this is only speculation and traditions can change. We have also seen in AFoP that there are different dynamics between olo'eyktan and tsahìk in different clans, like Nesim and Minang who are sisters and Ka'nat and Etuwa who are father and daughter (although she did inherit the role from her mother).
Anyway this was just a reflection on a really popular headcanon that is treated like actual canon by the fandom, very much like many others “facts” that were actually just completely made up by the fans or have no actual proof in canon.
Cressida: I know we’ve always had this unspoken rivalry-
Penelope: It’s not a rivalry, you’re just always mean to me.
Penelope: And it’s not unspoken, you talk about it all the time.
I’m obsessed with the fact that Penelope is convinced that Colin sees her the way everyone else does and that their friendship on his side has been pity, while in reality he holds her in the highest respect, values her opinion above anyone else’s, thinks of her as often if not more than his own family, seeks her out at social events because he enjoys her company so much, is sincerely surprised and hurt when she accuses him of being embarrassed by her, and thinks she’s joking when she calls herself a spinster, because he sees her in a light that no one else does, one that he doesn’t even fully understand, but he sees her
