Character story: Alphys.

Appearance.

Alphys is an anthropomorphic lizard monster. She is short, but unlike the original Alphys, she is not plump, her body is toned. She has light orange skin and yellow eyes. She wears glasses, a yellow T-shirt with a white lab coat on top, and jeans.

Alphys is very smart and resourceful. She is also active, goes in for sports, prefers to move rather than sit still. Story.

Alphys became the Royal Scientist when she built Mettaton. This earned her the respect of the king and the post of royal scholar. It was she who created Flowey, and when he escaped, she told the king about it. She also wanted to conduct experiments on the souls of people, but Asgore did not allow her to touch them. As a result, Alphys focused on boring experiences and improving Mettaton's body. But when Frisk appeared, she began with all her might to try to get his soul, but he passed the traps well, and Mettaton simply could not kill him. So Alphys simply dropped her hands, but still, because of Undyne, agreed to help Frisk, although she was disgusted to keep Asgore in the dark.

History.

When Asriel and Chara died, Asgore became depressed, and Toriel's departure only made things worse. He denied her the war to people, because what's the point if there are more of them, their souls are stronger and they were able to kill even Asriel, who had Chara's soul inside. With such thoughts, Asgore refused to destroy the barrier, deciding that it would be safer for monsters in the Dungeon. Asgore constantly lied to everyone that he would soon collect the right number of souls and destroy the barrier. But when he met Frisk, he was scared, because the man could have killed him or had already killed more than half of his people. Asgore attacked Frisk, after which he died.
