The final season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has just begun to release.
The Ares and Apollo cabins are in a dispute over ownership for the flying chariot.
The counselors sit around a table in the Big House.
Percy has just learned that he's (probably) gonna die in the next month, when Clarisse and Michael begin to bicker. Percy has had it up to here.
He starts clapping rhythmically. There is a lull in the room as they stare at him.
He claps faster.
"Oh golly, the road's getting bumpy, cause I've got me some friends who just can't get along-"
Faith without works is dead and God will always work it out to be good
THE WORD FOR 31/8
Hebrews 11:8 “By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.”
To walk by faith, you must believe God is guiding you, even if you have no evidence of it. When God called Abraham, he left his home and just started travelling, having no idea where he would end up. After travelling a long way, he arrived in the land of Canaan and God finally spoke again, "To your descendants I will give this land" (Genesis 12:7). This was the Promised Land!
When you walk by faith, you have no idea what will happen after you take the first step of faith. Then you take a second step, then a third step, and eventually you end up where God wants you to be. You don’t know where you are going, but God knows where He’s leading you. Just because you don’t know, doesn’t mean God doesn’t know. But if you will keep walking by faith, He will lead you to your Promised Land.
