The Marauders - MBTI types.

I have been thinking about the Marauders’ MBTI types and I almost went crazy thinking about it because UGH I HAVE TO FIGURE THIS OUT. So I made a test. For one character at the time. And since we don’t get to know them that well, especially not Lily, James and Peter, I answered as my picture of the character would have answered. And I could be wrong. 

James Potter. ESFP. It goes pretty well with my thoughts. E and P were easy to figure out, and I also guessed that he was a S, but T/F was trickier. ESFP is described as The Entertainer. They love the spotlight. Their weaknesses is the fact that they are pretty easily-bored, unfocused and impulsive. 

Sirius Black. ENFP. I think I always saw Sirius as an ENFP, since I am one myself and I felt like I could relate to him a lot. 16personalities says: ‘’ENFPs are fiercely independent, and much more than stability and security, they crave creativity and freedom.’’ I think this goes very well with Sirius. He is independent, but also social and in need of other people. Also quite emotional and over-thinking. And just like ESFP’s, unfocused and easily-bored.

Peter Pettigrew. ESTJ. This was a difficult one. The Introverted/Extroverted part was actually the trickiest here when I thought about it myself. I figured that he was probably an E, even if I think he had a hard time socializing with other people without having his friends backing him up. He still had a desperate need of having other people by his side, right? 

Remus Lupin. ISFJ. This was the easiest one. He is introverted, sensing, and do not even try to tell me that he was a T because no way. ISFJ’s tend to be supportive, friendly, calm and reliable. Also very insecure - it is not unusual for an ISFJ to have low self-esteem. They are described as the typical teacher, since they are patient and kind. Also the most loyal of all types. Caring, loving and protective. 

Lily Evans. ENFP. (I know she is not actually a marauder but yeah) This one surprised me a lot! But it makes sense, right? James loved Sirius as if Sirius was his own brother, is it really impossible that he would fell romantically for someone who is a bit like Sirius? I do not think so. Though, it is possible that she changed when she was older. I did this test based entirely on teenage Lily. Maybe, she was ISTP later. Not impossible.
