"how do i know you?" you said as you looked towards the man standing in front of you with utter confusion written on your face. "why are you so familiar to me? it's like de—"

"deja vu? yeah i get that alot..." jungwoo said as he looks at you with a small, sadden smile.

"how is that?" you said with a small laugh that you let out in disbelief. you looked at the expression on his face, and something from deep inside of you told you that you needed to comfort him, but the emotions confused you. he's a stranger. why would you want to comfort a stranger that you've only just met? "why are you looking at me like that? you're acting like you know me."

"because i do know you.." jungwoo said in a sad tone that he tried to cover up.

a shocked laugh comes out of you as you looked away from the man and looked around your surrounding. "i only just met you! probably think you know me cause i might look like someone from your past life or something." you said as you tried to reason with anything at this point.

"it was your past life i'm—" jungwoo swallowed the lump in his throat. "—i'm still in my current life." he said as he looked down at you with the most serious look on his face.

jungwoo released a sigh as he closed his eyes, trying to remain calm and think of a way to get you to actually believe. “I’m a god…”

The doorbell jingled as you pushed the door to the coffee shop open and entered. The smell of cinnamon and coffee beans filled the small building. The smell made your stomach flutter as you walked up to the counter, seeing the cute barista you always came to see.

He finished wiping the counter, pushing his silver hair back before setting down the rag in his hand and moving in front of the cash register. As he looked up, he smiled, fangs showing. “What can I get for you, Y/n?” Sunghoon grinned, blinking slowly as he licked his lips, the smile reappearing immediately.

“U-Uh..” You shook your head as you recollected your thoughts. “A peppermint mocha—” you started, but you were joined by the barista.

“With extra whip and extra chocolate chips? Got it!” Sunghoon looked at your surprised face and smiled. He remembered your order?

He took the money from your hand and typed a few things on the cash register before it opened, placing the money in. “I’ll have it ready in a few minutes.” And with that he retreated to the espresso machine.

You bowed your head as a thank you, taking your seat at the table in front of the counter. You watched the barista work, making your drink. You always thought he was cute when focused. Just looking at him made you feel shy.

You distracted yourself with your phone as you waited for your drink. Occasionally you looked over the screen of your phone, hiding behind it again when you made eye contact with him. You heard the machine stop and the sound of whip cream leaving the can. He walked over to your table, the smell of his cologne following him, your stomach fluttered as you smelled it.

“T-Thank you!” You lowered your head as he placed the drink down on your table. Sunghoon nodded, the grin he had been wearing since you came in still on his lips. When he walked away, you took the cup in your hands, bringing it to your lips. The warm liquid slipped down your throat. You enjoyed the taste, smiling.

Just as you were going to set the cup back onto the napkin you noticed the note written in pen on it, looking up to Sunghoon first, he was grinning even wider than before, a slight blush painting his cheeks. As you looked back down at the napkin, you picked it up, reading it..
