Day 8: Constellation
Narcissa was a dutiful daughter to her parents, her House, her legacy. She never stepped out of line or raised her voice in protest, “As a lady should,” her mother would scathingly remind in inference of her older sisters’ brashness. But Bellatrix’s taunting songs rung in her head, of the field of stars the family cast up into the night sky, and how little Cissa was the only flower stuck on the ground.

I will physically combust if regulus fandom turns into what sn*pe fandom is . . .

regulus has the same thing going on as robert pattinson i think. yeah people think hes all pretty and rich boy malice and that image goes away immediately after seeing him eating fistfuls of mud and paper. he just pops up to say the most offputting conspiracies like a redditor and the only time you see him doing anything remotely interesting is when he started a fight club and beating up kids at lunch time
all of roberts jokes are like inside jokes but only for himself and regulus has that energy . you’re right

It's a mess
Draco reading in a decidedly casual way. {the most infuriating thing about coloured pencils is the moment you take a picture of the finished piece.}
the heart remembers
“i am going to victim blame a child in an abusive household and claim this literal kid had enough power to stop the dynamics that were put in place since his youth. said child most likely also had much burden placed on him as he grew up because he had to take on a lot of responsibility, most probably keep the peace in the family, and had pressure on him to overcompensate for his older brother’s behavior.”
let’s not act like regulus being the golden child meant that he got off unscathed from his childhood, all children that grow up in abusive and toxic homes are victims.
pointing out his racist ideology and behavior is one thing and entirely just, but blaming a child (remember that he died at 18!) for not stopping his parents abusing his older brother is wholly unjust.
and let’s not act like sirius, james, and andromeda were perfect either :-)
i’m sorry but the hatred i have for jegulus is almost as strong as my hatred for snily
regulus literally let his brother get abused by their family and did nothing to help him. and don’t tell me he couldn’t have left, both sirius and andromeda had left and were doing fine on their own.
james is far too good for him and would never fuck around with a blood supremacist
