IN NO ORDER WHATSOEVER, moments where i lost my mind a little bit in chapter 9 of @c-c-cherry's amazing fic Area Hysteria:

“Kageyama,” he said softly, assertively, because he was sure of it from what he saw. “You didn’t explode.”

Reigen wasn’t trapped.

“I have nothing to say to you,” Ritsu’s voice was steady, though he’d be lying if he said he didn’t hear the smallest of wavers in his words. “Except that you’re a liar.”

Teru shook his head, pushing the pile of lemon-flavoured candy in Mob’s direction, “I bet you give Ritsu all your red ones, don’t you?”

“But what I can do is take the burden,” he said softly, “We can take it. I won’t let you hold it any longer.” 

Reigen never seemed to like silence, either.

Do you ever think about the fact that Mob could extend kindness to literal murderers but not himself. Do you ever think about the fact that he'd sit with Toichiro so he didn't die alone but he looked at someone with his face and could only feel hatred and wanted to get rid of him. He could forgive someone willing to brainwash the world. He couldn't forgive someone who had his face, who made a mistake when they were ten. The only one Mob couldn't give the benefit of the doubt was himself. What if I cry.
