you would almost think that israel has stopped killing palestinians but in the past twenty-four hours i have seen some of the most gruesome images of dead and beheaded human beings in my life, once again, in july of 2024.

israel is banking on nine months of genocide pacifying global outrage, the slow and steady extermination becoming more palatable. however, nine months in this also incriminates them absolutely.

to be committing such heinous crimes nine months in, with a genocide trial, ICC warrants pending, the eyes of the world on them shows that israel is not a state with any system of accountability, nor are its citizens or its supporters capable of mounting a real opposition to its genocidal mandate of palestinians. nine months of unstoppable and unceasing war crimes, and nine months of israel apologists refusing to give an inch as they continue to take lives. nine months of proving that they were never trying to end hamas, nor were they ever capable of it, but they seek nothing except the annihilation of palestinians and the annexation of their lands. nine months of settler colonialism in action.

nine months of palestinians being proven, beyond a doubt, completely right in their assessment of israel. a state that is beyond redemption, a state that is not a partner for peace, a state that has never stopped reproducing the violence of its foundation since the day it was founded.

Reminder that feeding a mime anything other than fresh meat IS abuse. They are carnivores and require fresh meat and I'm sick and tired of seeing people try to feed their mimes fancy vegan stuff. They don't deserve that treatment and need to be fed properly. They have sharp teeth for a reason. Don't even get me started on the disgusting behavior of people feeding tragics pellets or dry foods marketed to them. So many people get the tragic dry food just because it's dyed black and claims to be healthy. It is not. It's full of corn and additives that are only fitting for railroad clown consumption. If they're fed dry food, they need iron and niacin supplements and their blood pressure will lower, not even mentioning the increased risk of blood clots and heart problems that has been scientifically proven to be linked to dry food marketed to tragic clowns.

I made jelly nougat this yr :^D Oh I am so happy it turned out. It was super simple, quick & cheap too (just white chips, mini marshmallows & dots candy). You could make so many other holiday alternatives by perhaps adding extracts to flavor it differently. I would love to make a peanut butter one, maybe a bday cake one (with rainbow sprinkles) and a valentines day one (with heart shaped gummies). Unfortunately the woman who made the tutorial for it on YT said something transphobic (in another one of her baking videos) so I now legally own the rights to the recipe and I am the keeper of the jellynougat.

MORE TREATS. How I love my treats (I have a sweetooth if it wasnt already obvious). Also made homemade poundcake (simple and cheap as well), and butter cookies w cranberries and walnuts. Yrly staple. We celebrate non-religiously so the day is just chinese takeout and some movies. She had a dead waterbug on her and the seller and I exchanged money in the parking lot of a 7/11 like an xmas drug deal. She's haunted by all 3 spirits from a Christmas Carol and I love her with much fervor and merriment.
