What’s Your Take On Using Non-binary Actors In Like A Female Or Male Role Given The Like Characters
What’s your take on using non-binary actors in like a female or male role given the like characters they play or the resources? I wasn’t sure if that was offensive or like for example if the actor is comfortable playing straight characters having them as bisexual. New to rp so I just wanted to not be offensive.
I totally understand being new to rp, I've been around the rping world for a bit but there's still always so much to learn. Now, it should be noted this is all opinionated, and if I am incorrect please do tell me so. I'm always looking to learn and be educated so that I could conduct myself with the utmost respect for everyone around me. From what I'm aware, non-binary actors are a minority among the majority of female and male actors, so I do believe their gender identity should not be overlooked. If the actor identifies as non-binary that should be respected and incorporated into their character. I do hope this is a helpful answer, and if there are any follow up questions I'm around to help.
