improvement? i drew gem’s pumpkin patch! this was so tedious but it looks better than my last attempt! this took so so long

what i learned? background artists are incredibly patient. also! ombres serve an important role in creating depth and shadow at least through my observation and experimenting

the background and gem separated- i am proud of this but im still eager to keep improving!

this is my practice page bc i was overthinking how to draw pumpkins

usually i hate deleting posts especially if its art but i think the final piece i made with this study undermined what i learned bc it was so jank yknow. so just gonna pose the individual pieces that created it bc these are what im actually proud of :)

what i learned: break things down into 3D pieces! makes it easier to understand what connects to what :)
