Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! The OG posts were lost with the hacking of my original Twitter account (@/bagels_donuts) but I’ve since reuploaded the whole thread to my new Twitter (@/ItsDonutsFR)! Fanfiction writers (Scriptor fictus) are intelligent animals who need plenty of enrichment as well as encouragement! If they're stuck in poor conditions (e.g. have studies, work, have to actually write to have something written) then they require the proper enrichment to engage in more healthy behaviours, like writing. Remember, due to poor breeding and socialisation, over half of all fanfic writers suffer from low self confidence and executive dysfunction so take care of them!

Give your fanfic writers proper care. Fanfiction writers are a life long commitment.

so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god

Ya know I've been wondering why there been such a wave of tired but good dad Bruce fics on ao3, specially with a focus on Dicks time or Jason's. Specially since current ao3 authors seem to focus more on taking his more awful moments upto task n either fleshing out his character or point out his abuse (depending on what fanon version the author wants to protray) set more in Dami's time.

Then i realized that Robert Pattinson is at fault. His portrayal of Batman sent the characterization back into what the Dark Night first was to fanon, a deeply depressed man trying to find and give justice in a very dark world. And that kind of person works well with traumatized kids like Dick n Jay.
