anxiety was originally gonna be a shapeshifting monster, and as much as i love the idea and wish they would of kept it in, i get why it was scrapped, they wanted to portray all emotions as helpful, and i guess making anxiety a monster wouldnt have helped said portrayal.

though it appears that they just, reaallyy wanted a "monster" to be the main antagonist of the film, from the very beginning, actually. this "emotion turning into a monster" thing seems like it was carried over from the original cut antagonist, "Shame", before being scrapped entirely.

...i wonder if someone with an anxiety disorder would still have their anxiety shapeshift into a monster when out of control... idk, i just like monsters.

as for Arkiye... well, unfortunately i dont write lore for my ocs often, they're mainly just designs i make for fun, but i personally imagine Arkiye to be like... this weird alien girl that somehow found herself on a random planet, and now that she's there, EVERYONE'S interested in her, mainly her magical properties and, well, magic tricks (because she can indeed do magic).

It's not much, but who knows, maybe one day i'll give her proper info, haha-
