(from insta) soooo... turns out i REALLY like painting! more than markers, or brush pens, or any of the other methods i normally use to make spreads... painting’s just super relaxing!
this is a #beforethepen of my usual study-and-grades-tracker spread i make every semester in order to keep track of how i’m doing. i think it came out really well! i’m super distractible, so i need to be extra-organized to make up for my scatterbrain tendencies 😅
again, this theme is inspired by @hayleyremdeart ‘s canyon theme from 2019!
My sister, who I live with, thought she couldn't get the vaccine because she doesn't have insurance.
We're not really used to "free".... spread the word.
wednesday 05.08.20 // a while
It’s been a while since the last time that I sat down in a cafe to work on something for university. My job at the landscape architecture office is going great and now I only need to finish my masters thesis and then I’m finally done with university 🥳
studying without the struggle to feel good enough. studying with interest and people to talk to when you don’t understand something. people who get lost in those topics with you over a drink or dinner in the evening, in a cozy bar after a day full of productive hours. walks and bycicle rides in the nights and in the early mornings because you spent the night in some shady apartment or club. motivation because you’re all in this together. happiness because it’s worth it. because you’re not alone.
when writing a screenplay about an awkward archaeologist, one must embrace the aesthetic of said awkward archaeologist and literally make their entire workspace resemble that of said awkward archaeologist. i wanted my space to look jumbled, like i’d gone on adventure after adventure and brought pieces back from every trip. even though i can’t travel during the pandemic, my workspace is a nice, temporary substitute. i’m obsessed with it. feel free to ask where i got anything you see in the photo!
my order from @seminarycoop came in & i am SO excited to dig in!! seminary also sent some cute stickers/goodies with my order, which was a lovely surprise :)
i liked caitlin starling’s debut, The Luminous Dead, and i’m pumped for another sapphic horror story. i’m also having a ton of fun writing about the Locked Tomb books rn, so— review to come for YJ too, hopefully :)
