tuesday, nov 17 • stills from an october diary
a collection of many small moments to comprise of my october diary. last month had a lot of happy moments scattered throughout, but also it was the month where my anxiety hit the peak(!) yoikes ;u; it just really felt like things (that i’m particularly happy about) are always changing and happening to me, and i have to “accept” them. but, at least i think this month i’ve finally stopped resisting as much, which has a helped a lil’ bit! maybe next month i’ll start feeling good about the changes?? haha baby steps u know (´・ω・`)

Favourite polaroid, favourite planner spread and favourite scent of this year. Despite this year being a rollercoaster for most of us - reflecting on the positives has made me feel a bit less weary for 2021. I'm sending you all good vibes for the year to come, let's hope it'll be nice to us all 💌
Hey everyone! Spring semester started last week, so I’ve been busy yet again, but fear not, I didn’t forget about the wallpapers :) I’ve made a couple fun designs just in time for International Women’s Day on the 8th, let’s go ladies!
This month’s designs are:
minimalist floral
minimalist floral 2.0
International Women’s Day specials: maxi pattern and simplistic
quote of the month: women like you drown oceans. (→ in Quotes folder)
I’ve included both Monday and Sunday start calendars, and there are multiple colors available: from pastels to muted shades, to black versions for those who prefer a dark theme.
you can find the wallpapers here
✎ LIKE/REBLOG if you like and/or use the wallpapers so more people can see them :)
do tag me in your posts if you post pics of them (#bulletnotestudies), I love seeing how they look on your laptop/tablet :) and if you have requests for April, let me know - new designs, designs you want to see again, new color schemes, any holidays you celebrate, all wishes are welcome!
and lastly: please don’t repost these or claim as your own, as i did spend quite a lot of time designing them
looking to redo my desk, and interested in clear/acrylic storage. i’m also on a budget (as-cheap-as-possible-while-still-quality.)
any suggestions for products/how to organize/thoughts on whether clear storage is a good idea?
new year’s resolution was to do more studies so here we go 😤🎨🖼
“The Roman genius, and perhaps the Roman flaw, was an obsession with order. One sees it in their architecture, their literature, their laws — this fierce denial of darkness, unreason, and chaos...” — Tartt, The Secret History
01.01.2021 | 2020 has been difficult, for sure. I worked as an Operating Room nurse for a few months before med school started. it was full of personal wins, but also loses. I got accepted in my dream hospital right after passing the board exam, worked my dream job, accepted in med school, but I’ve also lost patients more than I can count, heard cries over unimaginable hospital bills, and encountered grief and challenges more than I was prepared for because of the government’s incompetence.
so I tried my best to sort out my life— scrub in surgeries while going to med school interviews, advance study for the incoming sem, stick to my routine and schedule, et al, to feel in control of the things that are in my hands. Perhaps I’m no different than the Romans— in my fierce determination to deny darkness, unreason, and chaos. to provide some sort of structure in the midst of uncertainty.
2020 has been difficult, for sure. but 2021 will—should be different. 2021 will be prosperous, full of hope, and better things. there may be loses too, but I’m rooting for more good things than the bad.
you did good this 2020, and you will do better in 2021. we all will. happy new year, everyone. :-)
