(day 2/100 of productivity • spring term 🌷) Right, so I rewrote my lecture notes from the first stats meeting and then covered the next chapter as well. I also finished the stats homework, so now I can focus on my other three classes for the remainder of the week.

It has been a chaotic week, I really shouldn’t have put all my financial aid work to last minute... Also, is anyone else studying organic chem and just finding it so boring?? It’s the first time, I truly don’t like a chem topic

4: For my researching fellows, what are you researching on? If you’re not currently researching, what is the topic within your field that you’re most passionate about?

While I’m not actively researching this, I am passionate about Afrofuturism, more specifically black science fiction, and how it can be used to understand our past and reimagine a future for the black diaspora. Black women and black enby writers have always been so ahead of the game when it comes to this. 

Also, I’m really into music of the black diaspora. Its forms, its histories, the dances created from it and vice versa, the music that has been birthed from movements.

So I’m finally back from my parents home and now trying to concentrate on writing my project but a) the weather is so cold today b) I’m feeling a little sick and sleepy, so I made myself a cup of cappuccino to warm up

its been a tough week - two problem sheets due, another and a whole website and report due for next week, plus pms making me so exhausted i can barely move by 6pm - does anyone else get this? 

march 21, '23: i successfully completed my first year masters! now onto the second year. once again drowning in notes and theories//
