zoning out and walking into the apartment next to the library instead counter: 2
struggling with biological classification and physics these days. winter brings along the desire to sit at the corner of my room and stare at the ceiling endlessly: no thoughts, head empty.
I think I might start a productivity challenge because the november blues seem unending, just like the number of forthcoming exams.

Also, I’m rewatching the 13th for my upcoming presentation. The American justice and prison system makes me furious.
Starting bar review (or at least the German version of it - so state examination review?) tomorrow and I‘m really anxious excited but also scared of not being able to perform or properly learn in the new environment. Going to finish up preparations now and then enjoy the calm before the storm.
copying out some old book notes into my commonplace book with my fountain pen!
I’m just super fucking bitter that once the flint water crisis got it’s 15 minutes of fame people stopped giving a shit. The water is still poisoned, people! Donations have plummeted and people have been forced back into drinking and bathing with the water! The medical effects of this are astounding, cases of legionnaires disease have skyrocketed, people are having seizures, people are having weird rashes break out over their body, people (including me!) are having their blood poisoned, and it’s not just lead! it’s coliform bacteria! it’s THMs! it’s all in the water and it gets into the bloodstream and breaks down blood vessels, causing bruising and petechiae and internal bleeding and no one gives a shit anymore and it’s only gotten worse like how many people are going to have to die until people realize this is still a problem

// 4.24.20 // I recently moved my desk in front of my window and it was the best decision I’ve made in a while. The bright natural light makes me want to sit here for hours and hours, which I have been now. I used to not really enjoy sitting at my desk, and I noticed I would do my homework and studying at almost every other surface in my home haha. Now I have this beautiful view, my plants are pretty and keeping me company, and it’s just so bright I can’t describe what the natural light does but it really does increase my motivation and productivity.
